The sprinkler tech that came out to do the job was very professional! He called me before coming to the house to make sure he understood our issue and that helped in his showing up with the correct parts for the repair. He quickly diagnosed and repaired the issue and tested the system to make sure it was working before he left. He also helped me look at 2 other problem areas we had been meaning to address. He wasn't able to make the repairs because he didn't have the time alloted in his schedule, but he did look at the 2 areas, write it on his report and said he would have their office communicate with me about making another appointment. Very nice and professional - this is the only plumbing company we call on!

I continue using them because I like that they explain the fees that the job is going to require immediately and upfront what I would have to pay. very professional. started by suggesting several options to solve my problem but suggested starting with cheapest option first to try saving me some un-necessary work and expense.. It solved my problem and at the lowest cost.

He was a nice guy and came promptly. It was a brand new house, and I did not know what the problem was, so he explained it to me. It was a low-flow toilet, so solid waste sometimes did not go down as well as it should. I was kind of annoyed I had to pay money when he did not do anything. I wish they would have told me that over the phone; that really upset me. I also guess that because they are a business, they can’t just have people calling all the time. It wasn’t a negative experience. I wanted to recommend them to others, but I did not feel very enthusiastic after being told that I would have to pay $50. When I called them the second time, which was regarding the sprinkler system, they quoted a price of $8000, which was high. In the future, if I knew there was something wrong that had to be fixed and I couldn’t wait to compare prices, then I would definitely use them.

I called the day before because we tried to adjust it ourselves and it got much worse. We had very little water pressure, and they came the next day. They called and asked if they could come early, took care of our problem, and helped with a minor toilet issue. Before they left, they talked with me about a minor dishwasher drainage issue, and advised me to record the location of the regulator and drain clean out for future reference (these can be difficult to find in the yard).

I have a bathtub faucet that had been dripping for quite a while. I had previously tried replacing the cartridge which corrected the problem for a while but it started dripping again. I thought that it would be a good idea to have the plumber come check it out in case something was wrong other than the cartridge. He was very friendly and checked everything out and determined that the best course of action was to replace the pipes and faucet system. He gave a couple of quotes for different types and amounts of work which were detailed but I have no idea how they compare. He also didnt charge me for the visit since he couldnt fix anything. The problem is that he didnt offer a cheap route which was to replace the cartridge to see if that corrected the issue, instead he went straight for the expensive option. I decided that with the price being over $500 that I should try the cheap option. It turns out Moen will send free replacement cartridges for their faucets so I took advantage of that. The problem was solved. I guess the problem was that I had used a generic replacement rather than the original equipment.

My shower valve started leaking a steady stream and wouldn't shut off. I called Ray Lusk on Monday and they had a man (Bob) at my house Wednesday morning. Bob took one look and knew the cartridge was bad. Luckily, he had the part on his truck and had me fixed in no time. He was very helpful and professional. I will definitely use them again

I originally called to have them find and fix an underground leak and they referred me to American Leak Detection, which I used and was very satisfied with. ALD said I may have to have my main water line replaced and quoted me at $2,200, Ray Lusk quoted $2,800. I went with ALD due to the price difference. However, Ray Lusk was very professional and courteous, I just believe they misjudged the actual cost to replace my line. I also appreciated the referral to ALD.

They were very good and very prompt. They said they would be here at 8:30 and they were right on time.

They plumber was really nice. He even helped me put my shower door back on. It came out of the runner and he helped fix that and did not charge us anything for it. He also stopped a very bad dripping in my wife's bathtub that he only charged us for parts.

They also have done plumbing work for us in the past. I will use them again in the future.

The city had turned off the water to my neighborhood because of some work they were doing. When they turned it back on, the pressure blew the water pipe connection to my hot water heater. The problem with this WH has always been its location: it's in the crawl space in a very tight spot. There was no room to even reach the top of the WH and since this location had been a problem for years (flooding, etc.), I knew it was time to replace it with a smaller model. I called Ray Lusk Plumbing based on the reviews here and they promptly returned my call. The plumber came out, realized that he couldn't even reach the problem and agreed with me that it had to be replaced with a shorter unit. He had to special order the new one and told me it would likely not be here until after the weekend (this was on a Thursday). Luckily, it came in the next day and he was able to install it on Friday afternoon. The cost was exactly what was quoted and it worked perfectly right away. He upgraded several connections and shut-off valves and placed them within easy reach, which I had never even thought of doing. He even did a visual inspection of all my plumbing pipes because I asked him to at the last minute; I told him to be sure and charge extra for that, but he didn't! I've been worried off and on that my pipes needed upgrading (it's a 50 year-old house), but he said everything looked good and nothing needed to be done. You know, I think a lot of plumbers might have taken advantage of that and would have "found" some other repair work which had to be done -- right away, of course. It is great peace of mind to know that my water pipes are sound. I couldn't be happier with Ray Lusk Plumbing. They were professional, courteous and did me a great service. There were no surprises, no missed appointments and no delays. I would definitely recommend them!

I called for an estimate and James from Ray Lusk came the next morning. He spent about 2 hours surveying the job before providing me with an estimate for cost and the time for completion. James and another plumber came the next week when we agreed and completed the work over 2 days. There were no last minute changes, gotchas, or anything I was less than satisfied with. Best plumbing experience I've had, will use them again for any future needs.

I had an old, non-functioning, under-the-counter hot water heater that I needed removed. Because I was getting new countertops installed, it seemed like the perfect time. I scheduled the countertop installer for 9:00 and Ray Lusk Plumbing for 9:30 in order to allow the countertop installer time to remove the old countertop so the hot water heater could be removed. Rex from Ray Lusk arrived early (EARLY!) Friday morning, at around 9:15-9:20. Unfortunately, my countertop installer was not so prompt. While we waited, I proposed that Rex unhook the kitchen sink while I called the countertop installer to find out where he was. He was at least twenty minutes away, putting him nearly an hour late. Rex graciously rolled with the punches and finished unhooking the sink. After he was finished, I asked how long he had allotted for the job. He told me about an hour. I apologized, which he waved away, and I suggested I reschedule to keep him from being late to his next job. At this point, Rex proposed that he remove the countertop to keep me from having to reschedule and being further inconvenienced. I was shocked! How nice and considerate! Not only did he successfully remove the countertop and move the cabinet piece that I had already paid the countertop installer to remove, he even called the scheduler before he left to preschedule a return visit on Monday to reconnect my sink! I was so pleasantly surprised by his professionalism and positive attitude. I will certainly call Ray Lusk Plumbing for any of my plumbing needs in the future.

I called Ray Lusk Plumbing for a free estimate after getting a high estimate from another plumbing company. Ray Lusk Plumbing provided a free estimate as most plumbers do. The other plumber charged me $59.00 just for an estimate. Ray Lusk plumbing was very professional and very prompt. They fixed the problem the same day. Ray Lusk Plumbing fixed the problem for less than half of what the first plumber estimated. Ray Lusk charged less than $500.00. The other plumber's estimate was for $1,159.00. I am very pleased with the Ray Lusk Plumbing and will definitely hire them again. Do your homework. Don't pay for an estimate.

Quick diagnosis. Prompt service to cut off water flow short of leak in slab concrete. Followup restoration of water flow with copper line, bypassing bad pipe in slab. All work performed flawlessly. Technician was courteous, on time and efficient. Definitely use this company if you have plumbing problems. AAA.

Having been told by a home inspector that it would be necessary to replace a shower pan, which would be quite expensive, I asked this company to look at the scope of work needed and tell me what I was facing. They reported that the home inspector was wrong and no work was needed. I happily paid for thier time.

If I ever run into ANY plumbing issue, this is the company I will call. We had a new washer and dryer installed earlier in the day. The issue occurred at night - isn't that when all plumbing issues pop up? haha! By the way, their night call rate wasn't very bad at all - $90. I tried to call the install company, but they didn't have anyone available to help me overnight. Nice. I called Ray Lusk and a very helpful woman connected me with Rex - who was available to come out at 8:30pm. He brought along his adorable and very helpful son, too. Anyway, there was an issue with the dryer leaking gas about an hour after the install company put in the washer and dryer that morning. They came back to fix the dryer and in the process managed to break a joint for the hot water valve connected to the washer. I didn't notice it right away b/c I was busy with my kids and carpooling. It wasn't until 4pm (3 hours after the install company was here) that I heard a loud raining sound coming from behind the washer. Rex thought maybe when they were tightening the connection it was a little too tight and it snapped. In the process of that happening, I had a waterfall between my walls...going down under my house - huge puddle. It sounded like a heavy rain fall. Rex found the issue immediately and took care of it. He was here about an hour, was very professional, and most importantly explained everything in a way I could understand. You know how plumbers or other handy people can come in and make absolutely no sense...so you have no idea if you're being taken advantage of? This was totally not that experience. I knew exactly what he was saying and now I feel confident in pursuing some kind of reimbursement from the company that came to install the washer and possibly snapped that joint. Thank you Rex!

I called the office several days and made an appntment for the plumber to come several days later. He arrived promptly and listened to my wife and me explain the problems we were having with the shower and the toilet. He told us what the problem was with the shower and, after going out to find the part quickly repaired it. He told us the toilet seemed all right but we asked him to nonetheless remove and reseal it, which he did. The plumber knew what he was about and explained it to us very clearly. He was polite and professional. We will use Ray Lusk Plumbing again if the occasion arises.

Ray Lusk Plumbing handled the gas line portion of connecting our whole house generator. I obtained 3 other estimates, two and three times Lusk's. Both of the other companies, as it turned out, were going to perform uneccesary work and told me Lusk's estimate represented sub par work that would not operate the generator. The only reason I choose Lusk, (besides the price) was because of comments I read on Angies List. Ray Lusk also was the only company that showed up when they said they would to provide an estimate. They completed the work in a timely manner and the generator is operating the way is supposed to, just like they assured me it would. I would reccommend this outfit to anyone who asked, and will call them again when other plumbing services are needed. It is great to deal with honest and proficient service providers. I found the Ray Lusk Plumbing Co. to be one of those seemingly few kind of companies.
