I broke the 1/2 in copper pipe on my lawn sprinkler back flow valve that fed a separate faucet for a garden hose. I was trying to tighten it after replacing the washer and twisted it right off. I tried to get SprinklerMan to come over to fix this, because they had originally installed the system. After 2 calls and one email, I had to give up on SprinklerMan and try a different plumber. I set the day and time and Zack Ryals of Ray Lusk Plumbing showed up on time. In fact, he called first to be sure I was there. I had managed to make the problem worse as I tried to fix it myself, but Zack was able to work around my failed attempt and do the repair. He was courteous and pleasant. I learned that he spent four years learning plumbing and passed a written exam as well as his classes to become a plumber. Everyone at Ray Lusk is a trained plumber. While he was working, I picked his brain about problems with the plumbing at church. He was very courteous and knowledgeable about how to do those other proposed jobs, as well.

Very punctual and professional. When he could not find the leak he explained what we needed to do and recommended another company to come out.

Bill turned on the water to the sprinkler system and checked all the outside faucets for problems. One of the faucets was leaking badly so he replaced it. Inside, I have a raised toilet with a pressure assist flushing system. The pressure assist mechanism is beginning to have problems (weak flush). Bill found the leak in the air bladder and gave me the cost estimate for the repair. He also gave me an estimate of how long the toilet might continue to work before the mechanism needs to be replaced. I appreciated this because I can now plan for the repair.

When I made the appointment I was told that the plumber would call me the morning of my appoint to confirm his arrival time. When he called 2 hours before his scheduled time and said that he could come over then I was thrilled. He arrived, reviewed my concerns and discussed options and costs associated with each option. Once I decided on a plan of action, he went right to work. It took approximately 2 hours to complete everything. During the course of his work I asked several non-related questions regarding other concerns. He took time to discuss, recommend and then provided a written bid for the additional work. He was pleasant, respectful and extremely knowledgable about everythingl.

They seemed efficient and did the job in under the time they estimated. One person spoke and was clean cut and all, but another could have been a little more groomed and responsive in my opinion. It almost seemed like he came off the street vs being an employee, although I think he was there employee.

Pleased with the service provided. Punctual and professional. The guys who did the work seemed to know their business very well. I will use again.

They did what they said they were going to do, when they said they were going to do it. They were also able to determine that the water heater was under warranty, which resulted in significant savings to us.

They were creative to find a way to plumb the line without drilling a hole in the wall. Appreciated their input that it was a good idea tp switch the gas log sets (old house set was too big for new house - safety issue as well as space issue). Very professional and went out of their way to provide an excellent service! Definitely recommend them!

In april, 2012, at the recommendation of a friend, I hired Jim Jackson Irrigation to install a lawn sprinkler system; it was a disaster. I wrote a review about this company already. Anyway, from Angie's list, I contacted Ray Lusk Plumbing in an effort to correct the problem. They promptly came out, listened to my concerns, looked at the design of the system, made suggestions for corrections and improvements, gave me quote, came back and corrected the problems as well as possible without redoing the entire sysem. I believe I have submitted a review on Ray Lusk before too. They very professional and thorough in what they did. Subsequently, I bought a service agreement for them to service the sysem twice a year.

The service man arrived on time, actually before the appointed time. He called on his cell phone to let me know he was on the way. I'm not a professional plumber, but what seemed to be a major issue was repaired with some simple measures. Overall service was perfect.

Work went smoothly and was done on time and as promised. My house was built in 1947 and has full grown trees in line with the main drain which runs through my back yard. I had just bought the house a month prior to having the work done and was expecting to have to have it done so I was not suprised by it at all. The guys at Ray Lusk are professional, clean and courteous. I would most definitely use them again.

Called Fridayevening. Was told they only serviced emergencies on Saturday and that it would be very expensive if they came. He said he would call me the next morning to say if he could come. He did not call.
