They did an excellent job. The sub contractors they used were all knowledgeable and did a good job. They cleaned up after themselves. The carpenters and dry wall guys did a phenomenal job. They were very professional and easy to work with. I would use them again in the future.

A huge tree fell on my house during a severe storm. They came the next day and got us in the dry. They began our repair promptly and finished it promptly. The inside repairs were done well. Some of the outside repairs weren't perfect. But they did what they could to make it right. Two years later I had a minor leak from a vent in the new roof not done properly. But they came the day it was discovered and repaired it immediately!

After working with Lewis and Co., it is plain to see that they care about helping the customer, not about getting as much money as possible from the customer. When Mr. Lewis from Lewis and Co. came by to give me an estimate, he was prompt, professional, and knowledgable. He offered good advice on what I could do with the kitchen to improve it and ways save money (i.e. he suggested we work directly with a flooring warehouse to have our flooring installed instead of having Lewis and Co install it). We had had trouble finding a good countertop dealer in Little Rock, but Mr. Lewis was able to pick up the countertops for us from a countertop manufacturer, saving us time and hassle by cutting out the middle man (i.e. a separate countertop store). I received my easy-to-understand estimate in a reasonable amount of time via email (receiving the estimate via email was very convenient for me). Also, as my kitchen plans changed, I needed to change the estimate - Lewis and Co. had no problem with this, and emailed me new estimates in a reasonable amount of time. When Lewis and Co. arrived in February to install our countertops, they arrived on time and worked efficiently. As a matter of fact, we are also going to have them install new baseboards later in March. Thank you Lewis and Co.!

Prompt, informative and fixed with a minimum of hassle. Would be my first choice again.

The owner came out and estimated. He was very responsive. His workers came to do the work and they came each day until the job was completed. The job was fine overall; the texture could have been applied more evenly and they sprayed texture over things like wooden doors, and the wiring for light fixtures, resulting in our having to do a significant amount of work cleaning up after them, repainting wooden doors, and spending quite a bit of time knocking down their texture to find the wiring for the lighting behind it, and then having to re-texture. We were not counting on the work we had to do behind them. They seemed to be in a hurry the last day. In addition to the over spraying, they left some tools and we had to call them to come and get them weeks later. I think overall it is a good company, but we should have watched them much more carefully and insisted that they clean up their over spray before they left. By the time we realized it, it was hardened and they were long gone.

When our home needed interior and exterior painting and miscellaneous maintenance & repairs, we contacted Lewis & Company Home Repairs Service. From the initial consultation with Mr. Lewis, until the beautiful end-results, we were extremely pleased. Mr. Lewis and team, (Kenny Kennedy, Alan Price, and Mike Irmen), were professional, knowledgable, highly skilled, and eager to listen and respond to our needs and ideas. They quoted a little over $7000. They were very thorough and very professional. I got quotes from several others, he was by far the most fair as far as paying attention to details, and I thought the quote was fair. We decided not using Lewis because we decided to our house up on the market but had we needed to move forward with the remodel, we would have chosen him. He came out in June and I didn't get the quote until the end of July, so I thought he was never going to respond back and I was not worried about it because we decided to put the house on the market. He was very professional and very kind. The response time was little bit longer than I had expected but overall, it was good.

I was very happy with the entire experience they came Out the next day after I was in contact with them. They gave me a complete written estimate of the job And all the materials that would be required. They even found the sliding glass doors that I wanted but couldn't find myself. The day they scheduled the installation they were there early. the job was completed within hours and the cleanup was magnificent the door works beautifully...!!!!

.James did a thorough walk thru with us several times during the process. He asked what we wanted and advised us on alternatives when we weren't sure what we wanted. He was professional and courteous, as were all of his team. The estimate was detailed and each project was priced. The prices on the estimate were exactly what we were charged when the project was completed. James and his associate checked on progress personally. They were available by phone and e-mail any time we had a question. This is a courteous and trustworthy group of people. I have used the company for two small projects --- installing a garbage disposal and unclogging a toilet -- since the renovation was completed because I trust the Lewis and Co's people and their work.

James and crew were on time and here when they said they would be. No serious issues and the work performed was top notch.

I've used Louis and Company before and have been pleased. This time around, it took them a little bit longer to get back to me when I called initially. However, once I spoke to them, they came out immediately, gave me an estimate and had the work scheduled and done, right away. They always handle themselves professionally and I have greate confidence in their work.

If a company is too busy to take on any additional work, that is fine, but I believe a phone call explaining that they were not interested in seeing/estimating/bidding for our job would've only been common courtesy!

Everything went very well. The entire crew was always very polite and professional, responding promptly to requests for modifications or improvements. The work completed was excellent, and our new deck is well-constructed and attractive.

Provided an estimate, did not require payment until project was complete. The project was completed on time. I am probably being unrealistic about price rating - getting any work done nowadays is expensive. Will use again.

The work was done well and except for a delay in receiving the glass for the shower walls (delay due to a holiday) all the work was done in a timely manner. James listened to our requests and made accomodations without missing a beat when we changed the specs after the old shower was removed.

James Lewis and Mike Irmen came and interviewed and assessed the job for bid. They submitted their bid and we had email communiques about details and I obtained several other bids from different contractors. Lewis and Co were not the low bidder, nor the high bidder... I decided to use them based on Angie's List reports and the extensive interview that occured during their visit. Mike was the job foreman, and without him the outcome could have been in doubt... He was a good leader, and very knowledgeable about the craft skills that were needed to perform and finish the job. They worked well with other people doing the floors. We did the demolition and prep work for the sheet rock installation... Lewis and Co came in and hung the sheetrock, on day 1. On day 2 they installed the attic stairs and their sheetrock finisher started his work. Day 3 was sheetrock finisher and trim work. Day 4 was trim and finish up. Mike fabricated an insulated 'tent' to cover the attic stairs using the box the stairs came in... very clever and effective. Also, they reinforced the light junction boxes in the ceiling... all without extra charge! All the workers were efficient and followed direction when issues arose. None of the issues were major, and were easily resolved by the job foreman. They cleaned up well after themselves, and when they were on the job, it was all business. Good folks, good skills, and good attitude...

They were good. Their price was about average.

Got a very timely estimate and was very much in-line with expected costs to remodel very dated and leaky bathroom. Extra work to install washer dryer combo unit with new dryer vent line was added later at a higher, but reasonable cost. Very reliable and trusted with key to house, without any issues. Communication was much better than expected and was responsive to my out of town concerns. I highly recommend to others considering major interior remodeling work.

Went well overall. James and his group were very professional, very responsive to my quirks and needs, and always kept in touch throughout the construction of the garage/shop. Overall quality of the work was well done and they worked fast, slab was level and square; walls and doors plumb, swinging free and clear; window works flawlessly. I am happy with the end result. As a construction inspector, very little was wrong during construction and what was, they quickly corrected without any debate. Good group to work with and won't steer you wrong.

I can't speak to the quality or price of work. I contacted the company based on good reviews on Angie's List and the owner came to my home to discuss building an arbor. However, I never received an estimate or any further contact. It's been over two weeks and I went with another company. Update: Three weeks after the company did on-site visit I finally received an email with the estimate for the arbor and fence project. By this time I had already contracted with another company and the work had been completed for a week (and I'm very happy with the final product from the other company). The estimate from this company was significantly higher than what I paid. As for the grade, I initially gave the company an "F" for never getting back to me with the estimate. I'll move that up to a "C" at best, since I finally did receive the estimate. Unfortunately, I still am not able to recommend them.

From bids to finish they were veryproffesional and helpful.

It did take a while to get them to come out and start the work. They always stayed in contact with us though. They have completed the work incredibly efficiently. They broke down all the costs to us and walked us through the contract. They are very professional. We would definitely recommend them to others.

The experience was great. The guy was one of the greatest I have ever had. I have spent so much with other people that he gave me a break. He did the work in no time and guaranteed it. He has a nice attitude. I didn't get his name, but I would love to get his name.
