Jose Rocha's Construction

Description of Work: Jose came out to my house and met with my husband the first time. They went over what we wanted done. Jose left and called back with a verbal quote. The quote seemed VERY resonable so we had him meet with us again to put everything in writing. I wrote out everything that we agreed upon. We went over the "contract" together and signed in front of a notary. We also agreed after a couple of days we would pay him half of the money so he could buy supplies (which I kind of felt uneasy about). I tried looking him up on Angie's list but there was not much information available. I did find that (according to Angie's list), he was not licensed and bonded as he told us he was. However, we were willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and overlook that (maybe he did not report his licensing info). He was scheduled to start the job a few days later at 8am, my husband came home on lunch to check the progress and he was a no show. We called to find out why and we're told that his car was in the shop. We asked why we didn't receive a phone call and we were told he was busy then the phone disconnected and that was the end of it. I obviously cannot comment on the quality of work because unfortunately we didn't that far.

Description of Work: Install gutters on house

Description of Work: I used Jose Rocha's Construction to do some repair to a roofing job that a guy screwed up several years ago. They repaired roof valleys, flashing and gutters that had been leaking.
