Work was great. The guys were very punctual and did great work. Finished in one day. Repainted all of my exterior pipes to match the roof without me even asking them to. Did some great sophat work on one side where they had to rebuild a corner.

The two man crew was professional, on time and charge for work done was more than fair. They explained that the original shingles were not installed properly and hence the problem when the wind came up.

Getting an estimate was quick and easy. I had to wait some time to get it scheduled, which is understandable, because it was the busy season, and they are worth the wait. They did an excellent job and I would highly recommend them.

I had an estimate earlier in the week from another company and was told that it would $650 to fix. Travis S. with Garcia and Sons came to give me an estimate several days later. He told me it would be $200 to get his guys back out to the house or he could go ahead and fix it right then for $100 as he had all of the supplies he needed in his truck. Better yet he gave us a one year guarantee that his solution would fix the problem. Granted the job was small, and he just had to put in some new flashing, extend the shingle line and reset the gutter placement, but it is pouring rain now and no leaking like before. Hard to beat that kind of service, particularly with a one year guarantee on his work.

They did an excellent job - would highly recommend them. They showed up early, got right to work and got the job done. Took a day and 1/2 because of the area being replaced but it was amazing watching them work. Finished product looks great.

Couldn't be more pleased. Called for an estimate and Travis was out the next day. Got an email with the estimate, Travis ran the door bell a second later. Gave me a rundown on cost to replace what I currently had, and provided some additional recommendations along with pricing three tab shingles and architectural shingles. Over the next 10 days, I ended up getting several other quotes. I chose Garcia and Sons for several different reasons: 1). Outstanding reviews on Angieslist and elsewhere. Local company with an established office. 2) They were my least expensive quote. Believe or not, I considered not going with them because they were the lowest. 3) Garcia and Sons was straightforward and honest. They laid out what they would do in an easy to read proposal, gave me facts and let me make choices. All other quotes I received were people talking down competitors products used, telling me that competitors would lowball or cut corners, and even making comments about the makeup of the crews doing my roofing job - something I could absolutely careless about. I care only about the quality of the work being done. 4) 5 year guarantee on their work, which is separate from the shingle guarantee. Crew arrived early one morning and got to work finishing up the job in one day. They did an excellent job prepping and installing the new roof, and cleaned the area around my house throughly. On top of everything I got an extra $150 off with the Angieslist coupon. I've hired many different contractors over the years to do things at my house, my sister's house and my parents house. This is one of the best experiences I've had. Highly recommend Garcia and Sons to anyone as you will get an excellent price and service.

My roof was deteriorating and several months ago a falling tree branch broke one of the decking sheets, causing water to leak into the house during heavy rains. Contacted Garcia and Sons and after a couple of days they were able to send Travis out to give me an estimate. The estimate was under what I expected. It took them a month to get to me but they are extremely busy (see reviews from other people). A few days before they were to come out, LaDonna contacted me and confirmed all the details. On the day of the job, the installers arrived promptly that morning, and by that afternoon had the work completed including clean up. The only evidence that they had even been here was my shiny new roof. Also, the final cost matched the estimate exactly. Keep in mind that as I stated, these guys are in high demand and very busy, so it might take some time for them to actually be able to get to you, but they are well worth the wait. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing such work done and will use them myself if the need arises in the future.

Went smooth. Took over 4 weeks to start work. Which was expected since they are busy.

It went very well, considering it was a small job. Most roofing companies were 2 weeks out to even get an estimate. Garcia and Sons did it faster than I could get a quote elsewhere.

My replacement roof was installed promptly as promised.

Great work and done so fast! I'd absolutely recommend the work Garcia & Son did for us. Attention to detail was also very high quality -- they even repaired a fascia board that had gone bad long before they arrived. Really appreciated that.

Misleading contract provisions and sloppy bid preparation. Small company seems to be taking on more business than it is capable of doing in timely completion.

I requested damage assessment by phone on Friday of the July 4 weekend. Dispatcher asked if it was okay if they did inspection on following Monday, and I said yes (since no rain was predicted). Garcia & Son person (my wife forgot his name) called ahead and showed up promptly, as arranged. He did a good examination of the plywood, shingles, and the chimney seal and determined that no repairs were needed. He removed the large branch and personally hauled it to the curb without being asked to do so. He said there was no charge for the inspection and hoped we would use Garcia & Son in the future when we need roofing and gutter services. We definitely will! I am grateful for their honesty, responsiveness, and for going the extra mile by hauling off a very heavy branch to our curb for trash pickup. He didn't have to do that, but it says a lot for their customer service philosophy. They're a class act.

Left message to call my wife to setup an appointment. They never called her.

I called and set up an appointment for a free estimate for rain gutters for my home. I was give a time and date that they would come. I received a call from the company telling me they were behind schedule and so we set up a new date and time (which was not really specific, they said sometime between 8:00 and 12:00). I waited at home and at 11:40 I had not heard from them so I called the company and the young lady I spoke with said she would contact them and call me right back with a more specific time. I waited and she never called back, I had errands to run so this was very inconvenient for me. Finally at 4:28 in the afternoon I received a call from the person who was coming to give the estimate and he wanted to know when would be a convenient time. I told him then we had changed our mind. I know these people are busy, but a little more consideration on their part toward a potential customer would be nice. We would have been a cash paying, good customer, but their loss!

The 2nd roof repair held up for 8 months. I now have damaged sheet rock & floors.
