Description of Work: Replaced guttering on the front of house. Repaired back gutter that was leaking onto roof. |Everything went very smoothly but I wasn't happy with the way the downspout looked on the back. It was really what I told them to do, I just didn't like what it looked like. I told them I would pay more for them to fix it. They set up a date for them to come out ... never showed. I didn't push the issue.

+ -1 moreI was very satisfied with the estimate, response time, workmanship, professionalism, and their willingness to make an on-the-spot correction. The final cost was very reasonable. Always get a written estimate that clearly lays out exactly what you want done. Be careful to measure special attachments such as the skylights to ensure a proper fit with as little adjustments required as possible. If you find that you have to pay extra for anything, be sure to consider how much of a deductable you will have to pay, if you are working with an insurance claim. Try to minimize as many surprises as you can, by getting everything clear up front.
Description of Work: We had a complete tear-off and replacement of our hail-damaged roof to include removal and replacement of five skylights. this was for a 3200 sqf. roof. the original estimate had to be adjusted due to our choice to upgrade the skylights to Velux mid-level quality self-sealed, tempered glass laminate aluminum style. I must say, that waiting for the skylights to be ordered was worth the wait, because they look just great, and they allow much more light in than the old polycarbinate plastic dome-style that were cracked-up from the hail storm. The workers were very professional and worked well with each other. The cleanup was good. We had to show where two sheets of decking needed to be replaced,eventhough they had " finished", but the lead worker was very cooperative and had his crew tear up the two areas that required the decking and re-shingled it.The whole job was completed in one day. We are very satisfied with every phase of the project overall .

Description of Work: Repaired leaking roof around a chimney on an old roof on an older house. Removed old shingles, replaced decking board, flashing, sealed thoroughly, and replaced with matching shingles. This was on a very steep roof about 40 feet off the ground with no easy access.

+ -1 moreA representative came out the day after I called and gave me an estimate. This was the 3rd estimate I received and it beat the closest one by $500. I told the rep I wanted to schedule the work. I received a phone call within a few days and the job was scheduled for the following week. As it turned out, they were actually able to do the job 3 days earlier, which was great! Workers arrived at 8 a.m. and finished the job around noon; the entire area was cleaned, my deck (below the roof) was swept clean, and all debris picked up. The work was excellent and thorough. A very professional company!

+ -1 moreGreat job. Arrived at 7:50 am, were done by 5:20 pm. Neighbors commented it looked like an anthills there were so many workers swarming my roof! Very nice. Cleaned up extremely well. Only quote (of 6) that brought me a folder of architectural shingle samples and offered a quote for that upgrade as well as a low quote for standard shingles. Ridge vent was same price as turbines.
Description of Work: 2300 sq ft roof. Architectural shingles. Ridge vent. Two sheets decking. Removed two turbines. Removed two sets of shingles. Removed all waste.

I received cost esimates from several contractors. Garcia & Son Roofing and one other contractor were several hundred dollars less than the bids of two other contractors. Garcia & Son were professional and held to their schedule and cost estimate.
Description of Work: Replaced a one layer, 9/12 pitch roof consisting of approximately 36 squares that had considerable hail damage. Garcia and Son Roofing removed the old roof down to the decking, closely inspected the decking, replaced anything that was damaged, installed 30-year shingles to manufacturer’s specifications, and disposed of the trash and debris. They laced the roof valleys and placed ice and water membranes in the valleys and at the chimney perimeter. They installed step flashing at the chimney, roof to wall flashing at the dormer, and pipe jack flashing in a color that matched the shingle color. They installed new pipe jacks that were painted to blend in with the shingles, 30’ of ridge vent, and three 14” wind turbines to match the shingles. They installed drip edge in the color that matched the house trim color.
