I actually used this company twice. First, in 1993 and the inspector totally missed the fact that the basement flooded -- ended up having to put in a $10,000 french drain. Then I was stupid enough to use them again in 2004. This time he missed bad places in the roof, bad water pressure (that can only be fixed by replumbing the whole house), multiple fogged windows, and termites in an outside building.

These two little old guys are wonderful! They have saved us so much money in the investments in many of our homes and condos. I would definitely recommend them to anyone because they are also very reasonable and make sure to answer all of your questions. They give you their opinion whether or not you are making a great investment or a bad one.

We were told that besides an actual home value appraisal of the home, that it is probably a good idea to have a professional home inspector to inspect the actual structure of the entire home itself. The guy that did the inspection met us at the house, and was actually very polite and showed us everything that he looks for in doing the inspection, in case we had any questions at all. He told us that the difference between an appraisal and an inspection, was that an appraisal just decides the value of a certain home, and an inspection checks how well the actual structure and foundation are holding up, and it checks to make sure all of the functioning parts of the home are working properly. He was very professional and gave us a perfect inspection of our home.
