Description of Work: The main office was easy to contact and follow up with. The people that performed the painting rescheduled the first day, was suppose to be at my home at 9a the next day. They did not show and the main office could not get the main painter to call or keep me informed as to what the hold up was. The work was good. They cleaned up the floors but did not get the tubs and sink areas cleaned of the paint dust from prepping the walls.

Description of Work: I did not use this contractor. My scores apply to their estimator who came to my home and gave me a job bid. He was very professional, punctual and friendly. He gave me detailed information about everything the bid covered plus a packet of helpful information about CertaPro. The bid was competitive with the one I chose. I had a good impression of CertaPro just from dealing with their estimator.

Description of Work: Removed wall paper on 14 foot walls, removed painted over borders in 2 bedroooms, repaired trim and wall defects and finally painted. I have an 85 year old Victorian home. Manuel and his crew actually restored the house to its former glory. They absolitely exceeded my expectations. Gregory Thomas, the owner came to my house, went over every detail and work began 2 days later. If you love your home you owe it to yourself to have it painted by these expert professional painters!

+ -1 moreWe were expecting to pay a considerable amount of money for 3 rooms. I asked him to price the other rooms as well. he presented the estimate and I was good with it. I asked about the additional work and to my surprise he said the price included all the work, including tax. In addition he said it would take less than 5 business days. all of it. the crew came and as promised one in 3.5 days which included all the extra work (fix the door frames and ceilings) - excellent work. nothing on the floors, furniture. they took great care.

Description of Work: I called and left message on answering service requesting estimate. Call returned within 24 hours, estimate made next day. The owner came and gave me a binder showing his credentials and photos of his work. I wanted four rooms painted and one had wallpaper that I wanted removed and painted. We agreed on a very fair price for the work to be done and he was extremely professional - didn't require a cent in advance - all due at completion of job and when I was satisfied. Two painters and a supervisor appeared on the date we had agreed on at the time we had agreed on and we went over the specifications. The supervisor talked to the two-man crew (Kyle and Carlos) and then the painting preparation began. Each evening when the crew stopped, they cleaned up the mess, put furniture back so we could use rooms as best we could. + 0 moreKevin and Terell Moore (brothers) who work for Gregory Taylor, the independent owner of the CertaPro paint franchise here in Little Rock arrived about 9:15 (due at 8:30) on the day after Thanksgiving to paint the living room. I provided wall and trim paint and the exterior paint for the garage door. I usually do my own painting, but because the paint tested positive for lead (any house before about 1979 has lead-based paint), I decided to have the pros do the work. They moved the furniture to the center (I had removed most of the small bric a brac and fragile stuff) and covered it. They cleaned and patched the walls. They did the finish coat on the sheet rock repair left over from a different worker who did not show to complete his job. They even took care of a ceiling crack and three small holes left over from an older light fixture. They painted the ceiling, then applied two coats of paint to the walls (covering a much darker salmon color) and painted all the trim. Kevin tackled the garage door and got it done. They were finished by about 5 PM. They moved some of the furniture back in place (being careful not to hit the wet trim paint). I stayed on top of the dust, sweeping and even mopping to remove lead-contaminated dust. I could have done the work that they did, but it would have taken me much longer (one of me, two of them, they are faster). Now I have a clean, fresh room and the garage door is done and matches the one I painted this summer before I learned of the lead in the paint.

Actual interior ceiling work was spotty with one team - had to call back for ceiling redo in one area but others were well done. Outside work was excellent. They did break one storm window removing for cleaning but replaced it without question. I will use them again.

+ 2 moreOverall, they did what they said they would do, performed the work to my satisfaction, cleaned up after themselves, and I'm already planning on requesting another quote for inside painting.
Description of Work: They did two jobs, one in April preparing and painting my large porch railing and pressure spraying part of my house siding ($660.00) and on 5/25/12 resealing my deck ($400). In both cases I got a formal proposal, the work was scheduled and performed as quoted. Only one issue was on the deck sealing - the crew showed up early unexpectedly and seemed to be independently rescheduling because of some issue on their part. It was lucky I was at home. Painting the porch railing was a two-day, multi-person job.

+ -1 moreCertaPro came out to do an estimate on an interior painting project. They were punctual and professional and contacted me both prior to and after the appointment via e-mail and phone. Although I decided to attempt the painting project myself, I foundered, and am now saving money so that I can hire them to do the project! The company also offers financing, interest-free for one year, to qualified applicants. I had also received two other bids and CertaPro's estimate was in line with the other two. They were the most impressive company of the group, hands down!
