Tim was very thorough and professional. He inspected the roof carefully and gave me a detailed report, with photos, showing many things that were wrong, including hail damage. He went over the report with me and explained each problem. He recommended a good roofer. While the $100 price was not cheap, I believe it was very fair in light of the work he did. Based on my experience, I will recommend Tim to others for home inspections.

Tim was very professional and friendly, performed his inspection thoroughly and then took the time to sit down with me and review his preliminary findings. He also shared his recommendations of items that needed to be addressed immediately, versus those that I might just want to be aware of for the future. I was very impressed with his attention to detail as well as his communication with me regarding potential issues he noticed. When I received the actual report, I was again very pleased with his attention to detail. He also let me know that he would be available beyond this home inspection to any future questions I may have about the home as I live in it.

The process went very well. Andy was early and drove around the neighborhood and was on time for the appointment. This house is one level with about 1500 sq. ft. and he stayed almost four hours doing a very thorough job. He answered all of my questions while there and provided me with contact information for any questions after I received his written inspection with pictures. He found things on the roof and in the crawl space that I would not have seen even if I were looking. He recommended additional inspection of the foundation by an expert to alleviate our concerns about some cracks. After the inspection by Casa Buena's Andy we were very comfortable about buying this 70 year old house.

Very positive experience. Tim was very professional, through, and prepared a useful report. He found a safety hazard in the house and repaired it on the spot free of charge. (Simple CO leak.) I am glad I chose his company. My only negative feedback is that his phone answering staff (answering service perhaps?) gave me a negative impression of the company before the inspection. They did not return my original voicemail requesting information. Once I got them on the phone they were only able to answer a few of the questions that I had and seemed unknowledgeable about the home inspection process. They also failed to notify my realtor about the scheduled inspection, which they assured me they would take care of. Nearly caused me to choose another inspection company, but I'm glad I decided to stay.

Everything about the inspection was what one would hope it to be: frank, clear, detailed, and timely. Tim was patient in explaining issues and gave one the confidence that nothing of significance was overlooked. His on-site inspection took about three hours. His e-mailed report must have taken at least another hour to complete. He performed the kind of inspection one would expect from someone certified by the American Society of Home Inspectors, a label that one acquires only through advanced training and which few inspectors possess.

Tim arrived on time, worked quietly and quickly, yet thoroughly. He was very pleasant in his manner and very professional. He spent 30 minutes at the end of his inspection explaining what he had done, his finding and recommendations.
