Animal Evictions by Ky

Description of Work: I called Ky last spring, after finding (smelling first) a dead rat in the crawlspace. He conducted a thorough investigation and found several points of entry. I had rats, mice, and squirrels, and they were making my attic their home. Ky presented photos of the problem areas and explained all the steps he would take to eliminate the rodents. He also quoted a price and explained that his work would be guaranteed for a year. Regarding the price, I thought it was reasonable given the size of my house and the extent of work required, but I did think it was a little on the high side. However, after interviewing other exterminators who quoted a little less, I thought Ky was more knowledgable and energetic. Ky sealed every possible entry spot, from the top of roof to the crawlspace, and he left one opening so the unwelcome visitors could leave but not reenter. After a few days, the noises in that attic stopped, and Ky closed up the one-way exit. Recently, the first night we had a cold snap, I thought I heard something in the attic. I called Ky, and he came immediately and fixed the problem. In addition to solving my rodent problem, Ky fixed an interior door that wasn't closing, and he took care of a few other projects. He was a God send at a time when I was absolutely terrified that rodents were going to destroy my house. He knows what he's doing, he is earnest in his work, and he has earned my trust--which is not easy.

Description of Work: Ky and his son did a wonderful job ridding my attic of attic rats and a dead bird or two that had got into my attic through leaks or making entryways for themselves. Ky first checked for all points that the "critters" could enter and then sealed all but one to allow for them to leave one way. He checked back several times before he sealed the area and set up traps inside the attic for any wayward varments. (There have not been any). He and his son screened the area to block entrances in the future, repaired wood that was damaged by the varments by putting in metal substitutes. He even poured concrete on one edge of my garage as the door was not flush to the ground. Later Ky checked back with me on several occasions. You could not go wrong chosing Ky. He was very professional, accomodating to my schedule, and did an excellent job.
