A&E Factory Service – Miami

Description of Work: There service window is 8 to 5. For the followup service they called 5 minutes before arriving (15 minutes on 1st visit). They have no respect for homeowners time. On 2nd call, I called late morning to see if I could get better estimate on arrival time without any luck. It took 2 service calls to get repair completed due to parts being ordered. New hinges were installed on both of our double ovens because doors did not close properly. The actual service and repairman were fine. Since KitchenAid set up the appointments with A & E when my dishwasher recently broke I tried them again. I was given the 8 to 5 standard service window. When they didn't show I called KitchenAid and was told the repairman was sick and that it would take 2 days to reschedule. There was no sorry we didn't call to say he wasn't coming or reduction in service window on reschedule. In summary, their service quality is fine, but they have no respect for your time. I will not use A & E again and I will probably not install KitchenAid appliances when we remodel our kitchen due to service in Atlanta. Previously in Dayton, OH, I had KitchenAid appliances and were very pleased with service technician (A to Z Appliance Service)

Description of Work: Replaced a switch WL was ordered, returned 2-24-2011 and replaced switch. On 2-15, I purchased a Extended Warranty for the washer and dryer until 2/22/2014 at the above price. The part was replaced and worked great until this Monday 5-9, the Maytag washing machine is doing the same thing. I called A&E and was give a repair call of 5-25 in the afternoon. TWO WEEKS and TWO days after the machine broke again. I have sheets, towels and lingerie in the machine wet, but CAN'T get the door open to remove clothes to do anything with. NO ONE can help and A&E AND SEARS don't seem to understand the problem. I have been assigned a case number from SEARS which has gone nowhere. If this is the service I am going to rely on from A&E I WANT MY MONEY BACK and I will go find me a company that cares about their customers and will deliver on their WARRANTY's. This hole world is going DOWN hill there is no CUSTOMER SERVICE in anything. I may not be able to do anything else but WARN other people about this company and their policy's. Thanks for your venue to do this very thing. I have also posted on Facebook so hopefully the news will get out, I also received several comments back from that avenue that there are others like me out there.

Description of Work: THE IGNITERS ON MY 10 YEAR OLD GAS STOVE TOP WERE NOT WORKING PROPERLY. STACY CHECKED THEM ALL OUT AND SHOWED ME ANOTHER WAY TO USE THEM.

Description of Work: WASHER NEEDED 2 PARTS REPLACED AS WELL AS INITIAL DIAGNOSIS.
