We had 6 different contractors look at our Job and bid. One Contractor wanted to place metal over the existing metal, this sounded wrong, I called Froud's Metal Supply to ask about this and I was informed they had never heard of ANYONE doing that. They recommended NO. { HOME HAD OLD METAL ROOF ON ALREADY} this is a re-model home. The home was built in 1950. It is now 2014, so indeed time for replacement Roof.. The Contractor of our choice ; After seeking all information found out about this sort of project. Then we agreed upon the Contractor ; Mr Dean Bourgeois "Contractor", he came to our home provided FREE ESTIMATE', very well mannered, explained well all home needed or replaced. Provided a Color Chart as well left it with us so we were not pressured on which color to chose. This contractor came with good referrals. I typed our own contract, Contractor read it and agreed- We met at the Bank to have a Notary Sign + Witness, making it a Legal Document, which would stand up in court. If you can not Type it can be hand written. This will work just as well.. Also, we got Auto Tag , Copy of Drivers License. If your contractor has a problem signing a Contract then it sounds shady who wouldn't want to protect their own self with cost they said, as well how good it was to have assurance foreach party involved. Mr. Bourgeois The Contractor; said " he had been installing 8 years." I called Froud's } Metal Roofing Supply they were very helpful told me to make sure what materials I needed was in Contract. Warranty everything. The Home Looks wonderful, it was amazing the difference. The next plan is to install siding, when this is done--this home shall look great. You may get the supplies and do it yourself or if like us get a great contractor. Froud's metal Roofing supply so helpful, kind, as well honest. The type of people we want to work with. Our Contractor never complained was always helpful able to answer all question's, again the type you want to do the work on your home.
