Description of Work: Serviced my heat pump.

Description of Work: I work for a large housing provider in Jonesboro. Kevin's has completed a number of job, large and small, over the past 5 years. I have never been disappointed in their work. I have never had a negative experience on any of our jobs.

Description of Work: They installed a Trane HVAC unit in my new construction in 2007. Worked fine for the first 9 months. Since then they have been out 5 times to service the unit, usually replacing some circuit board and twice to put freon in the unit. This summer, it wasn't operating correctly again so I called A-1 who came out an had to add more freon. Each time Kevin's added freon, I asked if it had a leak and they said no. A-1 stated that there must be a leak due to the circumstances. I called Kevin's and requested they do a leak check under warranty since this has been an issue from the start and is obviously an install issue. The owner would not return my call and after three more calls they finally told me that they would come out but I would be charged full price for any parts and labor involved, despite there being a long history of problems with the unit and their inability to solve the issue in the past. I feel they were just taking me for service calls and never bothered to correct the actual issue. Have spoken to numerous other HVAC companies about the issue and NONE of them suggest that having to put freon in a unit three times in less than four years is anything other than an install issue. Kevin's was suggested to me by my builder who I trust very much and he stopped using them not long after my home was built. I can see why. I would not suggest using them to anyone that expects competent and professional service.
