Description of Work: He has done two projects for me. The first project he laid 18"x18" 1/2" thick travertine tile in my very large den (approx. 20.5 ft x 22.5 ft). He advised on a sealant that mixes with the grout that keeps it from staining/discoloring so the grout doesn't have to be resealed every few years. He also advised on the best sealant for the honed travertine and how much mortar would be needed for the entire project. He also laid coordinating sheet travertine on a sloped wide entrance and knew what to do for a second entrance step up to a tiled bathroom off the den. The den was finished in approximately 2 to 3 days allowing for the mortar to set and then sealing the travertine. The second job was laying porcelain 13"x13" tile in my large master bedroom which he finished in less than one day. He generally stays busy in the spring and summer so you might want to call and schedule him a few weeks in advance of when you want your project done. I have found him to be very reliable, dependable and professional. It helps if you can speak Spanish, but he has a second person that assists him that speaks English. The above amount was for tile installation on the second job and does not include the cost of the tile, mortar, grout or sealant, but he also cut and installed baseboards around the room after he completed the floor. I had also already had all the furniture removed from the room.
