Bell's Heat & Air Cond

I called Bell's Heat & Air Conditioning Wednesday morning at 9:10 am on Nov. 4 for service. The man who answered the phone sounded as if I had woke him up from a deep sleep. When he was able to talk he told me he couldn't 'get to me' until Friday afternoon; I said that would be fine. Noon came and went and he didn't show. I called again at 2:08 pm on Friday and the phone was answered but all I could hear was the news on TV in the background. I called again at 2:14 and got voicemail. No one returned my call. I called again at 4:30 and he answered and told me that "four more people had called" since I first called him so it would be "later tonight or in the morning" before he could 'get to me'. I said ok. Saturday morning I waited until 11:43 before I called him back and got voicemail again. I left a message and got no return call. I had to go to work so my son came to my house to wait for him and when he didn't show by 2:00 my son called him and got voicemail. It's 5:03 pm now and we haven't heard from him. Neither my A/C nor my heat are working. Thankfully I have fans and small electric space heaters. I will never call Bell's Heat & Air Conditioning again.

My AC unit leaked so I checked Angie's List and saw that Bell was a top-rated company. I called Mike Garner's cell phone. He came to my within an hour, quickly determined the problem and blew out the line. He and his son are professional, courteous and take the time to listen and explain what is going on with the system. They shared with me the steps I need to take to avoid the problem going forward. I will use them from now on.

Found the problem and had to order the part.

Prompt service. Came by house within a couple hours of placing the call. Service completed in less than 30 min. Charged $75 for service call and $50/pound of freon.
