Description of Work: Wow, what can I say. They were great. The owner came out the day I called and did the estimate. I checked with other businesses in the area, however, either they could not do the electrical part of the job or they did not respond very enthusiastically. You see we needed a whole new heat and air system installed because we were switching from gas to electric. The other companies may be good for repairs but if you are having to replace the entire system you need to call Arkansas Air. They are very knowledgeable and will explain everything they are doing up front. In addition, now while it is terribly hot outside, our home stays nice and cool and our electric bills are running about 119.00 for an 1800 square foot home with all electric.

+ -1 moreWork was performed as asked. Provider was very knowledgable on why several of my rooms would not cool or heat. I was unable to be there at the time of service. I called a few days later to question my bill and was given a breakdown of the charges. We discussed one of the charges and I was given a refund for $48.00. Provided stayed in contact with me until I received the refund.
Description of Work: Rewired thermostat for correct operation. Requested estimate for additional insulation and re-running trunk line for better air flow to all rooms.

Description of Work: A problem with my air conditioner. He said it was caused by ants and he fixed it so my air would cool again. However I think I was charged too much for the short time he was here and I do believe he did not really check everything out. I told him I smelled something burning and even though the air conditioner is fixed I still smell something burning sometimes. I think he should have checked my thermostat. I used him because I really do not know anybody else and he knows my house as he has done work for me before. I had to have more work done later on my air conditioner which cost me $300 and had to use someone else because I could not get in touch with him.

+ -1 moreArkansas Air had installed our heat pump 5 years ago. They did a great job at a reasonable price. Last week, the heater would not turn on, even though the thermostat, motors, and circuit breakers all seemed to be working. Arkansas Air came out and inspected the entire system. They found that the problem was a blown fuse on the blower unit. They replaced it, but were not able to find the reason why the fuse blew. They showed me everything about the unit, and walked me through what they had found. They were not satisfied with not finding why the fuse blew and told me what to do in case it blew again. They charged me $115 for the visit. A week later, the fuse blew again. I called them to tell them what had happened. They then walked me through the process of troubleshooting the unit over the next hour. At the end, we had found the problem and fixed it. They did not charge me for all of this help that they provided. Outstanding, and amazing. I was convinced of how good they were after the installation. After this latest, they get all of my business.
Description of Work: Our heat pump was not turning on, even though the thermostat and power supplies were working. This is work that the folks at Arkansas Air had worked on in the past and fixed.
