Actual address now is on Forrest Hills Blvd in Bella Vista Ar This business is very untrustworthy- dishonest, I gave a deposit- and NEVER got anything done- the job was extremely delayed!, unwilling to refund $$ so took our $$$ and never did any work or deliver all materials. Do your research- DO NOT go into agreement with this business. They also do unsatisfactory Boat repair and service , the winterize and storage deal- not such A DEAL! ask to see where your boat is stored and how they store it: When our boat returned would not start they did more work and upon them returning it stalled on them in lake and they left it tied up for days at another dock across the lake— so unprofessional! Boat came back still had issues and not to mention the detail work and cleaning we could have done much better ourselves- complete rip off: DO NOT DO ANY TYPE BUSINESS WITH THIS BUSINESS

I highly recommend The Boat Service for all of your boat, dock, (shoreline) and boat-lift needs. They do it all, and they do it all right the first time!

I recommend The Boat Service. The Boat Service have moved and are more convenient. Formerly they were worth the drive to go to Jane MO. But this year they moved their location near the gates in Bella Vista. It is especially handy as they live nearby and can meet you at the shop as needed. You can expect this type of service from Marcus and Melissa. I own two boats. Just recently we acquired a new 22' Four Winns. They cleaned the hull making the fiberglass shine like new and overall detailed the entire boat. They also helped us learn a new type of boat. They checked it out thoroughly before we bought it, and kept us informed of everything they found carefully explaining what was wrong and what it would take to correct the deficiencies. They took it on a test drive and went through it fully. Not used to an inboard, Marcus walked us through starting procedures and maintenance. He even helped us with a local marina and even recommended a specific slip. My fishing boat was in for service this year too. It had been in an accident (rear ended in MN) several years back and the bow eye hook and rear hooks had been pulled and bent. They removed the old hooks and even fabricated a backing plate to make the new hooks better than the original. They solved the problem where I was getting water in the boat by filling it with water and discovering my drain plug seat had developed a flaw and installed a new drain plug. The Boat Service repaired my outboard Johnson 110HP which was running poorly adjusting the carburetor. They also fixed my trailer lights that were intermittently on/off. I should also note that 2 years ago, my old Basscats transom separated a little from the rear deck. Rather than replacing the whole transom they made a transom plate out of aluminum that provided reinforcing and resealed the transom. It has served me well as I trailer the boat to Canada. In all my dealings with The Boat Service, Marcus and Melissa, as well as their staff, are kind and professional helping to explain the necessary work. They are easy to speak with and explain the work that is needed. One thing I value is they look over the boat and offer insight on potential problems. Expect personal service and complete thorough work.

When I knew the problem I called around and no other repair shop could help me. The people at the Boat Service went out of their way to get me back up and running as quickly as possible. Their labor rates seemed high but when I checked others in the area they were the same. I've dealt with the Boat Service in the past, when they were located in Jane, MO. and they have always been fair. Good place to take your boat for reliable service.
