I called Stewart for an estimate to install a natural gas generator for my home. Appointment was made for several days late. On the appointment date no one showed up so I called again and have another date was set, with apologies for the missed appointment. A visit to my home was done on the second appointment with professionalism and an explanation of the size of generator needed to serve the electrical demand. An estimate was received about three days later and it was much higher than anticipated. I obtained another estimate at about $4,000 less then Stewart's. I noted on the Stewart estimate the cost of a concrete pad was $4,000. I called and was told that was the bid price Stewart received from a third party to pour the pad. When I explained that put the bid out of consideration, I was asked for a couple of days for them to reconsider; and I agreed to delay my decision. Stewart later proposed relocating the generator from the initial site so that a concrete pad would not be necessary. However, the new proposed site was not acceptable due to potential negative noise and visual considerations. So, I chose to go with another contractor for the generator installation.

First house purchase last year, and the fuse box was old. Turns out not only old but dangerous. I've used Lucas before at my business and was always pleased with his prompt work and reasonable fees.
