lawn mower repair
+ -1 moreThe lawnmower works like a charm. Needless to say, I am very happy with the results, the cost, and the repairman. He was friendly compared to what I encountered elsewhere. There was a $10.00 payment versus $25.00 at another place. The downpayment was subtracted from the total cost. I guess he really doesn't need Angie's List because he had more work than he knew what to do with but I just wanted to let him know that he did a good job.
Description of Work: We waited until the last minute to get our lawnmower fixed so it was a mess to try to get someone to fix it right away. We walked in and walked out of Boyd's repair shop when he said he had a 2 weeks wait but I went back later. He examined my lawnmover told me a little about it, told me his opinion of what was wrong with it, and gave me an estimate. They were overworked with jobs so I just felt if they are so busy they can't be all bad right??? The closest he could guarantee the lawnmower to get fixed was 1 1/2 to 2 weeks. I didn't want to buy a new one so I gave him the ok to fix it. It was completed one day short of 2 weeks. During trhis time the rabbits in the back yard were having a field day!! Too bad though, as soon as we got the lawnmover, there went their hiding/eating place.
