Signature Building & Renovatio

They started taking out the cabinets on 2/1/13 and the actual Demo work was on 2/9/13 and 2/10/13. We had went on vacation so we wouldn't be in there way and I trusted Don and had no reason to worry. He did call and let me know that there were a few things that they weren't going to be able to get around from doing and I gave him persmission to do so and I would pay him for those services that were necessary. I believe it ended up being around $600-$700 additional which I was totally fine with. We had to have the drywall replaced on the ceiling from the cabinets being removed which is usually expected I guess. They got all the cabinets in by 2/16/13 but there are problems with them. Alot of the drawers are flopping side to side definitely not secure and stable and the doors are catching when closing and the hinges aren't on there correctly. I paid them to do this not for me to have to go back over there work and I'm not a carpenter. I have addressed my concerns with Mr. Billings several times and he refuses to give me my money back. I have invoices that prove he has overcharged me and there are several other people who have the same complaint. My last attempt to talk to Don about this was a letter that I had sent him asking him to please sit down and let's talk about this so we can come to some kind of a resolution and he hasn't responded. I feel betrayed by Don because I considered him a friend and don't want to feel cheated by him however he's not proved me otherwise. I showed him the invoice where he gave me a total on all the work and then charged me 10% for overhead and 10% for profit on the Total Cost, this isn't including the $1500.00 that I gave him down on the project. It is wrong. He told me that I got a good product so not to worry about the money. I would just like the money due back to me that is all and the quality of the product hasn't proven to be all that greatl also and he doesn't care to make that right either.
