We had a meeting with this contractor and were very put off by his approach. He was condesending and rude. Not the type of person we would want to do business with.

Dirk Thompson was great to work with ! Was very professional & provided a good estimate and worked well with us on getting the job done before the next rain. The crew was great on the quality of work & clean up during and after the job.

I selected the business based on the feedback I received from some of my neighbors and from the conversations I had with the business owner. I believed then, and do now even more, that the owner is very professional, knowledgeable and capable of doing this job well with reasonable cost. His crew, based on their work on my house and the neighbors, are very good. They clean up after themselves very well and when the roof was completed, the roofs all look great. All aspects of the project were made easy by the business owner. That included selection of materials, dealing with the insurance company and management of the work. They went the extra mile when they discovered the bad plywood installation. They took the time to get new wood and install it properly before continuing the roofing. They could have just roofed over these boards as the original roofer had done but they did what was in my best interests without my even having to ask them to do so. (I was a awy from the house when they ran into this problem). This tells me that you can trust them to do the job right and do it as if they were doing it for their own home.

I asked for a quote and Dirk said he would accept whatever the insurance adjuster allowed. The adjuster made an error in measuring, on the high side, and he and Dirk compromised on the final figure. We got a GREAT roof, but clean-up was poor and I felt that the final price was inflated. Also, Dirk asked me to make checks out to his suppliers, rather than to his company. If I were to deal with him again, I would insist on a written quote, and make payments only to his company's name.
