We own an older ranch style with a very tight attic space. The air handler went out and I had 3 companies look at the job. One said they would have to relocate the unit into a bathroom and do extensive revisions on the ducts. The other company was $6000.James Wilkie at All Seasons looked at the job, and told me after doing some measuring, that he could get us a unit that he could put into the same location with no major pains except for enlarging the access hole (which needed it). The estimate was $4000, and that's what we paid for a Rheem 13 ser, 2.5 ton heat pump with outside compressor unit and an air handler that was installed like Scotty had beamed it up there! It took two mornings, they cleaned up after themselves and hauled off the junk. James suggested I take the outdoor unit to the local Monday night auction.
Description of Work: Remove existing HVAC unit in attic and outside house. Replace with new 13 SER, 2.5 ton unit. Air handler is in a VERY tight space in attic. Haul off and cleanup after job.
