+ -1 moreThey came out fast. As a matter of fact, it was real fast, 20 minutes. They found the problem. We had previously had another company out here and they charged us $400 plus and said it was fine. The next time it went out, we just called the nearest person which was Mt. Holly Heating & Air. They sent a crew out in 20 minutes. They found the mistake, somebody had yanked the wiring out of the box, it wasn't connected correctly. He said, I imagine your electric bill was pretty high, these wires are not supposed to be. He repaired it and the ill was $65. Yes, we will hir them again. They found the mistake immediately. They didn't charge a whole lot and they got it repaired whithin half an hour.
Description of Work: Our air conditioning unit stopped running.

Description of Work: they made an appointment and never showed up we waited all day and no show no call nothing ...so we bought a portable and a window unit for about 700 bucks and are doing with that ....it was a Thursday show up and that day it was storming and thunder and lightning ....no explanation why they no showed

+ -1 moreSam McKamie and his crew were awesome. Dependable. Punctual. Professional. Kind. Knowledgeable. Clean and neat workers. Thorough. He began by giving a free, thorough estimate where he crawled under my pier and beam home and did a very thorough inspection of the current state of the old system, including taking pictures AND video. When he finished the inspection and showed me the proof in pics and video...i knew I had the company for the job. No doubt. And I was right. Never regretted it for a minute! I contacted 3 other companies. One never came to do an estimate. Two came and peered under the house without even crawling under it to do a thorough inspection--which resulted in what would have been inaccurate estimates leading to either a halfway job or additional unforeseen costs. Red River (Sam) went the extra mile, taking the time to do a thorough estimate. And the bill turned out to be the same as his estimate in my case. Might not always turn out that way for others, but it did for me. I will definitely use him in the future for all my heating and A/C needs in other homes I will either buy or build. No question about it. I am 100% satisfied with the experience with Red River Heating and A/C and Sam McKamie and highly recommend them to anyone needing work done in this area.
Description of Work: Totally replaced my entire heating and A/C system, including ducts and vents, and removed and hauled off all of my old system.
