JUDY'S INSULATION

We were having problems with our windows that Judy's DID NOT install. We called them because they had done work on our house with insulation and siding & we trusted them. We asked for an estimate on three windows that we were having leaking problems with and they gave us an estimate of $600 if they were there until 12 or an additional $125 per hour after noon. They showed up at 8am and stayed until 10am . They were back at their office by 10:30am. Needless to say we assumed that the bill would be much lower than the estimate we were given because of only two hours of labor and they weren't here till noon. We received a bill for $600 it had no breakdown no labor no material nothing just total due $600 so we called asking if it was going to be less since they weren't here till noon. We were contacted today by the gentleman who did the work and he said that Mr. Judy stated we could take $75 off the bill leaving at $525. Still a little bit confused I called Mr. Judy and spoke with him today. I asked him for an itemized bill and he got very upset with me! He said the bill is what the bill is, and we gave you the estimate that's what it is. I stated that I thought an estimate was just what it might be until they actually came out and did the work. Also, that the estimate might be higher or lower because it is just an estimate not a bill. He stated that no one has ever asked for a breakdown of the bill, and that he would get a breakdown for me. Mr. Judy also stated that we were really getting under his skin and that he was doing us a FAVOR by even trying to fix our windows since they did not install them! I went by today to get the bill and this is what I received a $380 discrepancy!! I went ahead and paid the bill because we don't want to ever be seen as people who don't pay our bills but wanted to let anyone know if you're looking to get any kind of work done WE DO NOT RECOMMEND using Judy's Insulation because of the billing not because of the work they did! Mr. Judy was VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL and we will NEVER DO BUSINESS AGAIN WITH THEM!

Judy's came out and gave us an estimate. I told them that we definitely wanted to purchase gutters from them and please put us on the schedule. The guy who was there giving us the estimate told us it would be about 3 weeks. That was fine. I contacted the main office after 3 weeks later to get the status of our gutters and they were clueless. I was told to call the guy who gave us the estimate who "is in charge of scheduling". I called him and he told me "we will be out there the last part of next week, possibly even as soon as Wednesday". Ok fine. I then called that next week (when we were supposed to be scheduled to have the gutters installed and we took off work) and the guy who gave us the estimate was out of the office for 2 weeks (he failed to mention this when I had talked with him the previous week). I then called the main office who was again clueless and was told we were not even scheduled for this week. I am still waiting for a call back (I'm not holding my breath). At this point we are going with a different company. If Judy's rectifies this situation then I will change this review

It was good. Their responsiveness and punctuality were excellent.
