We have two houses needing roofs replaced. In July we called Pharr roofing and Gerald came promptly, measured and gave quotes. He said he was busy and it would be a couple of weeks before he could get to us, which we said was no problem. It is now late October and we still have not made it to his schedule. The last time we spoke, which has been at least two or three weeks, he was to bring roofing samples the week he called, but we haven't heard from him since. We have given up on him and found another company to roof our houses. Gerald was always pleasant and nice to talk to and was very informative about the roof replacements and what he was going to do. He just never got us scheduled. We've heard he does good work, but unfortunately we never had the opportunity to see it.

I called and Gerald came right out. He gave a price for a new roof and I agreed to it pending inspection of a few of his past jobs. He gave us addresses so we drove around and were pleased with his work. Then when it came time to actually do the work I called to firm up a schedule and he did not return my calls. We finally had to track him down at home to get him to say whether or not he was going to do the work. He said he had gotten too busy, which was fine, but it's not OK that he didn't return calls or let us know that he decided not to work with us. A shame because I like his work and he is a father son business. I prefer to work with that type business when I can but I can't be happy about a company that doesn't return calls when their plans change.

I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if I needed to.
