the damage. Never saw him again until we retained an attorney. The only winner, our attorney got 5000. in fees. We have appealed, but this a company to stay away from. I hired a private investigator to deliver summons, and he had no success. Bill applied for a city permit, but never completed the application or paid the fee, so their work was done illegally without permit. This is a company to AVOID at all costs.
Description of Work: Our insurance paid all but 1,000-however, this company is a sham. The owner, Mr. Palafox, sells his name to fly by nighters when there is a storm or problem. WE had a terrible hailstorm. The first estimate from the people our insurance company sent was so high that I sought a second estimate. "Bill: an older salesman came after several calls. Claimed to have known my father for years, worked with him, etc..Not the case at all. My dad had been dead years before this guy claimed to have worked with him. But I didn't realize this till later or would never have signed a contract. One portion of our house had a Four Seasons sunroof, basically styrofoam covered with aluminum, but our favorite room in the house. I explained in depth, to "Bill" that THAT ROOF must NOT be touched, no ladders, no shingles, no people walking on it, etc. and he agreed, wrote himself a note to that effect. The work actually started a few weeks after promised, but I came home from grocery store to see a ladder going to the sunroof, stacks of shingles being tossed onto it, and ANOTHER LADDER on the sunroof going to higher part of the roof. I started screaming, the men, none of whom understood English, just laughed. When I took the ladder down from ground to sunroof, they started shouting at me, and threw shingles in my direction. I tried to call "Bill", but no answer. Tried other number for Roofing Plus, no answer. Went to address on card, just a store front out in the next town, (Cavanaugh),, but neighbors said it had been empty for months. The roof got finished, but sloppy clean up. I picked up two garbage bins of shingles, and nails and screws still all over yard. Several days later, it rained- right into our sunroom. I called Bill, he came right over with two tarps, HE put them on the sunroof and promised he would be back in several days to take care of
