Extermco Termite & Pest Control

When we bought the home we are in in1978, we purchased a termite contract with Extermco. The contract stated that the company would inspect yearly and the contract would remain in effect with a $25.00 fee. They came out like they were suppose to for almost 30 years. Then in about 2006 I was in hospital for surgery and completely forgot that they hadnt contacted us about coming out. They let it go for 6 months or so and then sent a letter stating that since they hadn't received the payment they had voided our contract. They said they had sent a bill that I had not paid, which was not true. I called but the owner was very unkind. I realize that I should have taken them to court then and all I can do now is tell everyone how dishonest they are.

Arrived at agreed time. Performed work in professional manner.

I have been using them for 8 years and they are always available.

They're punctual. The gentleman showed up at my door and told me who he was which is nice. I felt very comfortable leaving my garage up. He went into the closed space in my house and he was finished quickly. Then, he came back and gave me detailed report which I liked. They do a great job.

They are very professional and did a great job. They give free estimates. They are prompt and very knowledgeable. They gave us a great price.

They are really good and they are reasonably priced. They do an excellent job. The initial spray was $500. They are excellent people. They are not any more expensive than anyone else. They are probably cheaper. They walked around and made sure that we were happy with everything they did. We will absolutely continue to use them.

When our filthy renters moved out of our rent house I went over to clean it. There was NO cleaning possible!!! Not without hazmat control! The rent house was so infested with roaches that when you came OUT of the house... they would BE ON YOU!!! Or while standing OUTSIDE the house you could watch them crawling OUT of the cracks and IN THE YARD!! :::::shivers:::: The man they sent out was named Larry. He showed us all the hiding spots and sprayed every crack and crevice in the house. He even sprayed behind mirrors and places you would NEVER think of. He said he had been in the business for nine years and this was the second worse house he has ever seen!!! I couldn't imagine anything else worse. I even had to trash the appliances. He also exterminated the attic, the yard and they crawl space under the house. Now, two weeks later the roaches are only half as bad. To imagine how many are actually dead is unbelievable!!! I've vacuumed soo many canisters full of roaches it is DISGUSTING!!!! I had them come out again for the two weeks respray. Which in many cases is free!! They are not at all pushy about a contract. It's only 45.00 a month!! And it's not really a contract... just a verbal agreement, more or less. When you don't want the service continued... just call them. They will stop. I must admit my first spray was over 100.00. However, they sprayed my yard as well which is not included in the house spray service.

When the exterminator showed up he was right on time, we discussed the problem, I showed him were the biggest infestations were, and he went right to work. Not only did he also spay the exterior, but he knocked down cobwebs too prior to spaying. I thought the price was great and while he did recommend that we do it every four months to ensure they didn't return, he did not try and pressure me into any contractual obligations. My only concern was his lack of concern for my dogs things that were in the area. I had to scurry to move them (which I probably should have done before he arrived), and he didn't even mention putting away their food and water dishes. It is possible he would have said something when he got around to them and he did tell me to pick up their water bowl outside. He also told me not to let them out for a couple of hours, so its possible that the stuff used inside was not toxic to dogs and I am just paranoid, but that was my only concern. Otherwise their service was wonderful and my husband and I plan to use them for all of our future pest control needs.
