When did you call and email? We try to get everyone replied to within 2 business days or sooner depending on call volume There could be a possibility that something got skipped but unlikely. I've gone over the last 100 voicemails to our company which goes back to 4-20,2016. (Today is 5-5,2016) No messages from you are in those voicemails. Could it have been someone else calling? If you did not leave a voicemail the call will not be returned. I apologize for you experience but I need to know details if anything can be done. If an email was sent and didn't go through I need to know when to get whatever the issue is fixed. We get emails through the website on a regular basis. Thank you.

First of all I wish any issues were brought up in a timely manner. We performed work for you on May 2,2014. This review is dated March 17,2016 almost two years after the fact. In response to punctuality when the job was quoted on April 14,2014 it was clearly stated on the written estimate we were 2 weeks +/- out. We were hindered on scheduling by your request of work could only be scheduled on a Friday as well as bad weather. We completed the work 2 weeks and 4 days after the estimate. Due to wet conditions we did not use out bucket truck to be certain we did not put any ruts in your yard. All work was done to the specifications on the written work order by An ISA Certified Arborist And ISA certified climber specialist. These trees had been severely topped in the past and the damage from that improper work is irreparable. Our work was to aid in the trees recovery and reduce risk of failure as much as possible without further damaging the trees following ANSI A300 Tree care standards. It was explained that with the trees condition they will need further care to try to rehabilitate their health. We also gave you the 5% Angieslist discount even in absence of the coupon. It was our understanding that you were happy when we left. No phone calls or emails have been made to us to indicate any issues.

Description of Work: We had to have a mature maple removed from our back yard. They did a great job working around existing beds, a deck, and through a small side gate. The tree was removed efficiently, quickly, and well. The workers were careful and professional. We were exceedingly happy with the service.

Description of Work: They trimmed two trees. One was rubbing against the house roof. He got that one, then went up on the roof and trimmed some smaller branches that would rub against the house in the next year or two. The other tree was a dogwood that was rubbing against an outbuilding. I told him it was a pet tree, and he treated it kindly. I have four wooded acres, and will definitely be contacting Jeremy again. He loves the trees as much as I do, respects them, and knows how to take care of them.

I had Jeremy come out and give a quote on three trees and look at several more I had questions about. He really took the time to educate us about what we had. They did the work while I was out of town so I gave instructions on what I wanted to keep for firewood and what should be hauled off. When I got home I was very surprised, the trees where gone and the fire wood had been moved to one area of the yard. The clean up was so good I did not even see much sawdust. First class outfit in my book. I have 118 trees in my yard so at some point I will need a tree service again and these are now my people.

This was the second time we have used Jeremy for tree trimming. As always, he did a stellar job. Jeremy is an arborist who takes time to analyze what the tree truly needs. He never takes more than is necessary to insure the health of the tree and the safety of your home. Watching him at work is a real treat as he uses ropes to scale even the tallest tree - never spikes that might harm the tree. His prices are reasonable and the work is completed in a timely manner. I have recommended him to several family members and friends. We would not use anyone else!

I thought they did a great job at a very reasonable price. It took about a week from the time he came out to give me an estimate to the day the job was done which I thought was fairly quick especially considering that we had had some storms in the area recently. They showed up at the time they said they would and did the job very quickly. I really liked the fact that they didn't have to use any heavy equipment like a scissor lift in my back yard, they used ropes and a harness to get to the branch, cut it, and lowered it safely to the ground so there was no risk to my roof or fence. I also liked the fact that the guy that came to give the estimate was the one who did the job. They chopped up the large branch and were even nice enough to remove a few other branches that had previously fallen in my yard at no extra charge and I didn't even ask them to do that. I thought that the two guys that came to do the job were very nice and professional and I will definitely use this company again for future jobs.

Very well. I have used him once before and will continue to use him in the future. I would definitely recommend using him again.
Description of Work: I had two large dead trees that had to be removed plus two other trees that needed trimming/clean up (thick vines were covering them and several broken branches, etc.). They ground down the stump of one of the trees as well. He and his employee were punctual and professional the whole time. I felt like the clean up was well done. I have had tree service companies at a previous home that did a horrible job (limbs fell on my house, one tree was cut down but never hauled away even though I had paid in advance to do so). Anyway, Tree Climbers' price might seem slightly high to some, but it was worth every penny in my opinion. The trimmed trees look great and the trees that he removed were cut down methodically and safely.

He came originally to do an estimate. I told him what I wanted done and he asked me if I wanted to keep the mulch or if he should haul it away. I can always use mulch, and my parents can always use firewood, so he left both stacked where I indicated.
Description of Work: He did exactly what he said he would do for the quoted price. Cleaned up everything and you would not even know anything was cut. He and his partner also left me with a bucket load of mulch! Definitely use again and will recommend to others.

My parents have used Tree Climbers Tree Service and they love him. I have at least five trees that are completely dead that he is going to take out, cut, chip them up and leave mulch for me. The wood he's going to stack and let my dad come and get it. And then there are some limbs that are dead that are still hanging in the tree from when an ice-storm hit and he is going to take them out. There are also some limbs that are hanging next to the roof of the house which he is going to take out. Those trees are twenty-five feet tall so he is going to have to climb the trees to take them out. He wears shoes with nails on them. He also has a harness and wears a helmet.

Thank you for the review! Just a quick note/clarification. The spikes were only used on the removals due to the fact that we are taking all the branches off and there is then no place to stand. Then we stand on the spikes similar to a lineman on a pole. When pruning spikes are never used because they will create open wounds on the tree every time you take a step and allow easy access for decay and disease. Only non-invasive rope access is used on live trees. Thank You!

We requested three estimates - (1) cut the tree and leave all debris, 2) cit the tree, chip brush 5-6" and smaller and leave wood, and (3) cut the tree and remove ALL wood and debris. We decided on #3, the complete removal. (The tree that was removed was approximately 42" in diameter at chest height, with 3 main trunks above that, meaning this was a very OLD Black Oak tree, so this was definitely not a 'do-it-yourself'' tree removal.) Once they arrived on scene and got set up, they got right to work. I was impressed with the quality of their work and very impressed that not once did they drop any branches on the house. As the tree was dying, they climbed the tree using spikes and ropes. They did not rush the job and their expertise in their field truly showed in their concern for personal property while taking the tree down in 6-10 foot sections. They removed the smaller limbs, grinding them as necessary - showing a concern for their safety - while working on the tree. The communication between the crew was kept very professional - asking and answering questions as needed. A mini skid with log grapple was used to move the large cut logs out of the way while the cutting was being done and for loading the trailer at the end of the day when cleaning the yard. They finished cleaning by blowing the leaves and chainsaw sawdust from my roof and raking the debris from the yard, leaving only a very low cut tree stump. It took them about 7 hours to do this job which was done safely and with attention to to preventing any damage to the buildings. I would definitely use them again should the need arise.
Description of Work: A diseased Black Oak tree near the house was dying and needed to be removed. (The top half of the tree was dead, and the rest was dying,) We had them cut the tree and remove all debris from the property.

Met this fellow at the site of a large dead oak on our property that needed to be taken down. He was pleasant and professional and gave me a written estimate on the job.Our neighbor wanted the wood for firewood and was going to cut it up once the tree was on the ground so he lowered his estimate. We agreed for him to do the work.He said that he could do the job in approximately two weeks. We accepted his terms. When the two weeks past, we tried to contact him and left a call back number but did not get a response. When we finally got hold of him, it was determined that the tree was too knotty for my neighbor to handle, but instead of reverting back to his original estimate, he jacked the price up by $1000. I am sure this guy is a great arborist and does a good job when he gets around to it, but customer service involves more than just doing the work. We have decided to use another service even if we have to spend a little more.

Response from Tree Climbers LLC
The original estimate was to get the tree on ground, chip the brush and leave all wood for the neighbor. I was asked if we didn't cut up any of the trunk if it would be cheaper. I said yes and adjusted the quote accordingly. Then I was called and asked if we could remove the wood as well. Because the neighbor decided he couldn't split the large pieces. I said yes but I would need to come out again and prepare new quote; as wood removal was not in the estimate. When I gave him the new quote to remove the large pieces he asked why I couldn't do it for the original price of just cutting down and leaving the wood. I said we have our expenses and we cant do more than double the work for the same price. If he would rather use someone else that would be fine but that is what my quote is to do that amount of work. Also we have to schedule our jobs based on the time and equipment they will take. When the original quote had to be modified the position on the schedule was changed to start the new quote process and evaluate what time and equipment would be needed.
