Surfco Restoration & Construction LLC

I reached out to Surfco to do asbestos removal several weeks ago on a house we were moving in to, as they are the only company certified in the area to do this. They had good reviews, so I was hopeful! It took two weeks to even get a call back, despite multiple requests for just a general estimate/timing. This was during a deep freeze when they were dealing with folks' pipes bursting, so of course we were understanding. However, after still further weeks, we continued to try and simply schedule something for a time that would work. No response. Finally, we were able to get someone to come out to the house, but when the day came, they went to Fayetteville instead of Rogers, despite me sending the entire full address/town/zip, resulting in us waiting 45 min for the guy. Then we were promised an estimate in a few days. No word. Finally, after calling, he says his "phone broke" and he lost my number. Okay....fine, things happen. Several days later, no estimate. I call again, and he says this time his "laptop broke," so could not get me the estimate until the following day- but absolutely promised by noon today. It's now 6pm, and I've heard nothing. We have several other contractors (painters, flooring folks, plumbers, etc) waiting on us for this to schedule, and we move in 4 weeks. We can't wait any longer, and I conveyed this to two people at Surfco, remarking how unprofessional and non-communicative this whole process has been. Their response: "We are a good company, sorry it's not a good fit." No apologies for the behavior- they seem not to care. Needless to say, we are not going to be using them. Think twice about hiring (or even attempting- good luck) to hire these guys despite the review here.
