carpet cleaners
+ -1 moreThey were running a special/ Three rooms for $75.00. They cleaned the carpet as well as they can. It is contractor carpet and it got cleaned. They did a good job.
Description of Work: I used Sears to clean our carpets in our house.

+ -1 moreI don't know if I got the tax charged because I didn't pay attention at that time. They were good at that time, but I don't remember if I had the tax issue. Other than the recent tax issue, they were good. Everybody else honors it, but a big company like Sears, just made me furious.
Description of Work: I had my washing machine repaired by Sears Portrait Studio.

air duct cleaning
+ -1 moreI was so furious with them that I actually contacted the accounts attorney general. I live out in the county and the tax for the county for services is 7% and they charged me 9% which is the city tax based on the area code. I contacted the attorney general and they told me that they do that all the time and it was an ongoing process. Their service was excellent, but their billing was bad. It wasn't the guys that came out as they were helpless, but it was the people at the office. There was only a $6 overcharge, but it's the fact that that's their policy and they do it to everyone. They were inflexible and they knew that I live in the county and they knew what my taxes were, but they refused to accept that.
Description of Work: I had Sears Portrait Studio clean my air ducts.
