Description of Work: They moved 2 leather chairs, a couch, a small secretary and a bedroom armoir and bed stand 1 1/2 miles from my house to my moms new assisted living apartment. 2 hour minimum and was promised they would move additional things in my house with extra time. Perhaps not told this. Dropped and scratched leather chair, new, right in front of me and said it was previously damaged and marked other new pottery barn furniture delivered by professional movers weeks previously as damaged. They don't know furniture. They ar strong and fast but said they would not charge extra for having to move so far from living lot to my moms apartment. Having used professional movers for new furniture within 4 months, no one else complained, damaged/dropped or was dishonest about what they did. They ran out so fast I did not get a second hour from them at my house and don't think it would be worth the frustration I felt during a stressful move. Muscle yes, fast yes, professional no..but similar to other local movers I have used in the past here unfortunately. incidently the professional mover bringing In a massive media center to the same location did not complain of distance or suggest there should be any extra charge. Need to train movers better, and not have them fail to ask about other things. I felt incredibly rushed to decide where to locate furniture with no changes by them. I paid for 2 hours and did not get them for more than an hour and they virtually ran after sighing when I asked if they would try different placement of a couch. They added to my stress level at a truly trying time of getting my mom moved into a facility. It seemed like a bait and switch but perhaps the person who promised my their full time to move things at my hous for the additional time did not communicate this to the 2 movers. Work on their interaction style. I simply did not have the energy to argue with or demand what was promised from them given my stress level at the time. Wish we had more professional mover locally. I probably have no really choice locally given my prior experiences.

Description of Work: Moved us from Harrison to Bentonville. They were very professional. My only complaint was even after they personally came and saw what stuff I wanted moved, it all didn't fit into 1 truck. Originally, they said I would have to have 2 trucks, but I gave them an updated list and they said it would all fit into one. That being said, the guys that actually came and did the physical moving, were great and tried their hardest to get it all to fit. Overall, I would use them again. I would just be very careful about counting on just one truck.

Description of Work: Little Guys Movers (LGM) arrived at our home promptly at 8:30am, as planned. Four college-aged guys showed up although all but one employee realized that they were responsible for packing (in addition to loading). Nearly 11 hours later (with 4 guys at a cost of $180/hr) our house (2 br, 1 dining room, kitchen, living room) was STILL not completely packed/loaded. Moreover, they filled up our ABF trailer (which should have been large enough for everything) when we still had boxes (etc) left to load. We were left renting a storage unit to accommodate our leftover items. Additionally, items were packed onto the ABF trailer w/o boxes (i.e., loose). Pictures were loaded w/o any wrapping (e.g., bubble wrap)... and the loading configuration was horrible. At least one LGM employee was brand new, so we lost efficiency with him. Plus, several employees rudely asked were our drinks were located. We did provide drinks and lunch (pizza) but several of the LGM employees took our hospitality for granted. I would never ever use LGM again. I do not recommend them at all. Wherever and whenever possible, use another company for your packing and/or loading needs.

 + -1 moreLittle Guys was excellent. They arrived early (after calling to make sure it was OK) on move-out day and had all of our belongings on the truck and on its way to storage in about 6 hours. The three young guys who performed the work were careful, fast, and good-natured. The week-long storage was inexpensive and went without incident. Little Guys arrived again on-time on move-in day, and continued to be professional, courteous, and hard-working. The move-in was done in about 5 hours altogether. The only negative aspect of our experience actually turned out to be a positive: Little Guys accidentally broke a lamp globe during move-out, while I was watching. I was not bothered by the loss of the globe, and counted myself lucky that it was the only thing damaged during a long move. However, Little Guys went beyond the call of service and replaced the entire lamp with one that arguably looks better. Ultimately, Little Guys' price was about $600 above the original estimate -- but this was not their fault. At the time of the estimate, I told them I thought it would be about 85 boxes to move, and it turned out to be more than 200. By the move-out date, we were prepared for the price to be above estimate because we had so underestimated the amount of boxes to be moved. We whole-heartedly recommend Little Guys to anyone who needs to make a Fayetteville-related move.
Description of Work: Moved 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, kitchen, living room, garage, and patio furniture and boxes from previous residence into storage, and then from storage into new residence.

None of our items were damaged in any way, and, in addition to a piano, we had a couple of bulky, heavy items that challenged them but they did a fabulous job with everything. I got the 10% 'Angie's List' member discount as advertised. Thank you to the other members that reviewed this company-that is why I chose Little Guys and glad I did!

 + -1 moreEverything was completed as promised. There were no surprises. They did exactly what they said they would do. They were on time with two trucks and six professional movers. All movers were hard working, energetic and professional. They took extreme care not to damage anything. Despite there best efforts there were a couple of minor scratches on the walls but they took photos of the damage and told us they would repair whenever we wanted them to. They even called us a week later asking if they could come out and make the repairs. I have never heard of a moving company doing that!
Description of Work: Provided moving with two nights storage of furniture. They moved us out on June 26th and moved us in at our new location on June 28th.

They do have a min. 2 hour charge and 3% extra for credit cards. ...but no issue ( b rating on price) I did get the 10% off because of Angie's List No Issues. Very good service. I would use their service and do recommend the service.

Description of Work: Anthony & Nathan moved me from Fayetteville, AR to Gallup, NM (06/04-06/06). I have never encountered customer service like these two guys rendered! They were punctual, congenial, polite, very professional in how they packed me up and unloaded me. Each of them would bring in an item from the truck, always ask where I wanted it placed and then would sprint back to the truck! Compared to other movers I have used over the last 30+ years, these guys are far and away in a class by themselves! I can't think of other superlatives to supply. They are undoubtedly the best movers by far I have ever used!

 + -1 moreI submitted email request on Sunday afternoon for a move that Friday. I had a call Monday morning and and soon an appt set and estimate emailed (which was close to final price). The cost is set by >what items< they move, not time, which is comforting. When they had a cancellation, they called me to see if I could be picked up earlier (I was not able to -- the new site was not ready until after noon). Then team leader called me and asked if they could go to lunch and then come to my office, or else they would have to to take a break in the middle of my move. I was ok with that. When they were arrived, they were polite, courteous, neat, careful, efficient. I am very appreiciative... I always feel that if you ask friends to move, you owe them 'way more than pizza and soda! This was worth it!

When it appeared we may be short on packing clothe, they helped me improvise in order to complete the job properly. They were very careful with each item they touched and asked about anything they were unsure about. In addition to being pleased with the outcome, I was also pleased they were completed within the timeframe the estimates were initially based on.
Description of Work: I hired the staff from Little Guys Movers to help me load some of my furniture into a moving truck. They were prompt, professional, and explained the process before starting.

 + -1 moreLittle Guys was very professional to speak with on the phone when getting a quote and the prices seem fair. They told us they would need about an hour and a half to move the small number of pieces we had quoted. We hired them to move our nice, large furniture so we would have some form of insurance in case of damage. They finished their first job early on the day we hired them, so I recieved a phone call telling me they could come any time we needed them. We had them show up about a half hour earlier than the original time. The two guys who showed up were very friendly, but they were incredibly slow. Rather than the hour and a half we were told it would take to move about 10 pieces of furniture; it took five. They did get our furniture to our new house safely, but forgot to take the bolts out of their tool box. We had no idea since we had four days in between the time we moved out of our old house and into the new house due to closing dates. We had to call them and have them bring our bolts back so we could reassemble our furniture the day we closed on our new home. Overall, we had a decent experience, but they have definitely got some work to do on the details.
