+ -1 moreI would highly recommend this company! A+ for price, professionalism, and quality of work. We got bids from 3 different local companies, and Lasun's bid was right in the middle. It was still just outside of our price range, but he worked with us and came down on the cost just enough that we agreed to go with him. Our home was an ugly brown/taupe color stuck in the 1960s with both brick and wood siding and ended up a beautiful, crisp white all over with a contrasting black trim. Now it looks so modern and new! It probably increased the value of our home by $10,000 or more if I had to guess! His crew of 4-5 men came in one week to prep: caulked holes and gaps in wood and frames, covered windows and doors, taped edges, etc. The weather was not ideal for the following few days, but they returned promptly the next Monday and got the front of the house painted in one day. They painted the back of the house the next day and finished final touches the following day. I appreciated the way they staggered the project because we were still able to enter and exit our home with ease at all times throughout the project. I also really appreciated how respectful, kind, and helpful the crew was. I am a stay at home mother with an infant, but I felt safe leaving my doors unlocked while they were here. They even helped me install new house numbers, rearrange our patio furniture, and consulted us on what should be painted what. Great guys! All in all, if you are on the fence about getting your home painted, just do it, and go with this company!

+ -1 moreLasun and his employees did a wonderful job. They were very conscience of their work and wanted to make sure that everything was done correctly. They followed up with me twice, asked me to do walk through and mark anything I saw that needed to be touched up. They came back and fixed everything - even a couple of things I didn't notice but they did when they returned. Their workmanship was extremely high quality.
Description of Work: Painted the entire inside of a townhouse! I bought.

Description of Work: I purchased an AL Big Deal for $ towards a custom furniture painting. (July 22nd) I received an estimate of $425 for 5 dining room chairs, but decided against it. My chairs only cost $50 total; I didn't want to put that much money into them. (August 12th) I emailed Lasun if he would be willing to do residential painting instead. He said that would be no problem; he could either come out and look at the master bedroom or I could send him pictures of the space. I told him it didn't matter, whatever was easiest for him would work for me. Several weeks later, I hadn't heard from him, so I took the initiative and sent pictures. When I followed up (Sept 5th), we realized I had sent the pictures to the wrong cell number. Lasun promised he would get an estimate to me shortly...nothing. I called the following week and he assured me he would get it done even if it was "just him and a buddy" that completed the project. Again, I heard...nothing. On Sept 27th, I emailed Lasun one last time: | |"Lasun: | |I sincerely apologize, but I can't wait any longer. The baby will be here in 7 weeks and that is if she is right on time (they usually aren't). I need my master bedroom painted before I can move forward with the rest of the remodel. I'm at a stand still and I would like the room completed well in advance of the baby's arrival. | |I will be calling someone else out on Monday to paint. Since the voucher expires on Wednesday, I would greatly appreciate the return of the $50 I purchased through Angie's List - not required, but I think it would be a nice gesture. | |Thank you for your time." | |To date, I have still not heard anything from Lasun. My experience started off really positive, but, with the lack of communication, ended on a bad, sour note.

+ -1 moreI contacted Lasun's painting to receive an estimate to paint our guest bathroom. Received a call back promptly and scheduled a time. Our guest bathroom had layers of wallpaper, we had removed what we could, but the walls were not in great shape with most of the wallpaper backing still on the walls. I had mentioned that removing the popcorn on the ceiling was on my wish list, but I was unsure of what the cost would be. He was super friendly, gave great suggestions and when I received the estimate and it included doing the ceiling I was thrilled! The work took 5 days. His drywall guys had to do a lot of prep work to get the walls smooth and ready to paint. They did a great job prepping, covering the floor, countertop, and tub area. He even brought a sample of the color I chose for the walls and painted a large area for me to see to make sure I would be happy with it. They were very meticulous in making sure it was done right and that we were happy with everything. I am so pleased at the transformation! When Lasun came to inspect the work, he saw a couple of things he wasn't quite happy with and had his guys come back to do those touch ups. Overall, I am beyond pleased and would not hesitate at all to hire them again!

We first saw his website and saw he has done a lot of good work and has been featured on local magazines. He came by and gave us a free quote. He helped us sample some colors and then we scheduled to get the painting done. He came in with an associate and they completed the job. They worked very neatly and we were very pleased.
