very poor work even tho he was recommended to me. used no new materials and charged $ 100. for 39 minutes plus offered no senior discount which i qualify for as i am 80 years old.

John provided a quote and we agreed to proceed. After reading a comment regarding rudness, I was a bit concerned but it was totally unwarrented. John is honest and will answer questions asked. I expect an honest answer from a contractor when I ask them for an opinion...not just what I want to hear. Regarding honesty you can not go wrong wiith this gentleman. His quote included 2 days labor. He took time to accompany me to Meeks and I paid for materials cost not cost plus like most would charge. I had a helper working with me on the remodle and we provided a very small amount of help with standing the endwall sections and John finished in 1 day. On an additional day, he researched, ordered, picked up, trimmed, and returned to instal a door that would perfecrly fit my wants (NOT PART OF THE ORIGIONAL QUOTE) (I followed his recommendations). ALL this completed, I was fully prepared to pay the agreed upon price. John said, "It didn't take as long as I figured and you guys helped so...." . He proceeded to quote the job and extra work for the door (including the return and trim) significantly below the original quote. This is something few contractors will ever do. If you want an honest, hardworking, fair, and all around great contractor, John is for you.

It took a little time to get the job scheduled, He did do an excellent job.

Do not hire tom knebel he is rude and does crap work

I called Mr. Knebel and asked him to give me a bid on remodeling my 1 car garage into a bedroom. He was rude on the phone and seemed offended that I was asking for a bid from another contractor, so I could compare them. He told me up front that if I was looking for the cheapest, he would not be the cheapest. I told him, I was not looking for the cheapest, that I had gotten a couple of names from Angie's list and called the company's. I told him if he wasn't interested in bidding on the job to let me know and I would call the next person on my list. He assured me that he wanted to bid on the job and he agreed to come to my house on Tuesday at 5:30. He didn't show up, he didn't call. I arranged my schedule to meet him and was available for the meeting. The least he could have done was to call if he couldn't make it. Do not waste your time calling this company.

Mr. Knebel prior to estimate brought lots of samples for us to look at. He also made samples and tacked them up in the house to give us a visual idea of what everything would look like. He started promptly, always on time, and did fast quality work plus a very nice man. We are very pleased with the work he performed and will definitely use him again on anything carpentry related.

he was very professional. clean, prompt and efficient. he was extremely kind about the cost. i would call him again and recommend him to my friends.

Mr Korbel performed a quality job at a very reasonable price for us.

Custom millwork such as mantels, tub surrounds, crown moulding and custom framing were part of our project and he did a great job. We had a lot of tricky and unusual problems to solve to make this remodel work and Tom found ways to make it work.I can not say enough good things about this company.
