The installers worked diligently for about a day and half to install everything. We had gotten the water and gas lines laid ahead of time by other contractors for them to use. They were quick and professional in their installation, while being thorough, and the unit works well. My only problem was that, a week or so after the installation, I kept hearing an intermittent tapping from the unit, which is below my bedroom; I noticed it mostly at night, but it could go on for 30 min to an hour. When I called them back and explained, they came out to look but said they couldn't find anything and tried to tell me that it was water dripping (I think I know the difference between repeated, systematic tapping and intermittent water drips). I never did find out the source of the tapping, but eventually got used to it. The actual heating and cooling works very well and we are happy with the temperatures.

Response was next day as promised. Technician came earlier than scheduled after calling. He was extremely professional and we think the cost was very reasonable. We will definetly use them again.

Our unit from Johnson's Air Conditioning Center has been fine. The job turned out fine. I would have chosen a different brand than my husband had. I don't really have anything to complain about. They put it in and it works.

I had an a/c unit that was just out of warranty last year and then the compressor was going bad. It had a temporary fix from another company who had given me a quote for a new a/c about twice what Johnson's offered this time. They acknowledged the old work and said the compressor was no longer salvagable. I was much happier with their quote to replace the total unit. The installation crew I rated B for professionalism because they were given the renters' number to schedule and they called me instead. I live an hour away and felt they did not look over their information very well as to who to call to set up the time to go over to the house. When they could not get the renter, they showed up anyway and then my son who lived next door was left in a position to attend to them and let them in my renters house as he was not there. The renter arrived shortly after they arrived and from there the installation went smoothly.

I would give them B+. I called them on Friday and they came a day after.

Repairing the line worked. They saved me at least $1000. Unfortunately, later this summer, the acutal compressor gave out. I had to get the entire unit replaced. They gave me a break on the cost of the new unit. They were very professional and very prompt.
