Hubby and I bought a fridge at a scratch and dent place. They didn't have delivery and set up, and this was a big fridge. Hubby got the fridge home okay, because the store helped him load it. Hubby was able to slide it off the trailer and put it in our garage. Then came the actual job of getting the big fridge back on the trailer to move it into the house. So he and our neighbor were putting the fridge on our trailer to get it to the front door. The fridge managed to smash hubby, so he was injured, but not too badly...at least he didn't moan and groan too much. So, we had to find a way to get the fridge into the house, so it wouldn't sit out in the yard on the trailer in the rain. Hubby found Don's Moving in the phone book. This guy quoted us $50 to move out old fridge into the garage and our new fridge into the house, which we felt was a reasonable price. They came out within two hours of Hubby's phone call, were super courteous, and got the job done. Did I mention that they did this on Memorial Day? We gave them $75 for doing a great job, working on a holiday with really short notice, and hooking up the fridge and putting on the fridge handles. I would hire them in a heartbeat again.
