Horrible experience. After multiple confirmations of appointment, they tell me they are going to be a bit late, but that they would be there (4 hours later than planned). Well then they call and say they can't do it at all that day. We were on an extremely tight schedule and had moved all essentials out of the house and so were stuck on where our kids would sleep (no food, clothes or bedding in the house). We pleaded with them to at least bring the truck and we could help load mattresses. They did come out for that but with the warning "I'm just a 64 year old man and Stuart has a bum shoulder so don't expect much." They promised to be out with the "real movers" - a team of 4 guys - the next day at 9 a.m. 2 guys show up at 10;30 the next day with a rented truck. They worked hard, but clearly were understaffed and it wasn't the three guys we were promised. About 4 hours into the project another helper shows up and he worked hard and the owner (bum shoulder) and old guy also started helping too. Midway through they told us about a "casualty" in which our baby's dressing table & hutch had fallen off and broken, but not to worry "that we'd make it right". We also found our dining room table with multiple deep scratches throughout after the move. No notice on that though. When all was said and done the owner came back and asked for a full 9 hours at a rate higher than was quoted even with the 3 guys (which we didn't get). He started complaining about working on Sunday (one hour and that was always the plan) and how we had "heavy stuff." I didn't know there was a weight limit. If it wasn't heavy we wouldn't have hired them! At every turn, what the owner said turned out to be false. I so wish I would have gone with a company that is well-known for reputable moving services. Save yourself the potential heartache. They aren't cheaper, they aren't more professional, they aren't faster and they aren't timely.
