First couldn't decide on price. Said he charged $100 an hour but than decided on a package price. He came on Oct. 23 and worked for less than 4 hours, setting 2 flanges and a valve on gas pipe, and placed water lines. We paid him $1000 and he was to come back in a couple of days to finish. (Needless to say he went straight to the bank) Before leaving we told him he put one flange too close to wall, 2 inches back from where it was to be. He said "you can make it work". After 1 week we called him, his response was "Oh, I thought you would have hired someone else by now." Set up a time to come back, texted day of wouldn't make it. Four (4) times set times to come over but at last minute would cancel by text. We finally told him to get it done or bring back a check for $500, he said he had over $350 worth of materials. (More like $100 at most, according to material supplier, least expensive materials used, ) We asked to see the receipts for materials, bring back money or get it done. The day we requested, he called the night before saying he was going out of town but would come on Sunday after Thanksgiving. We said NO. Should of known better but was a family member of a best friend. He also told us the $100 an hour included his helper "whom was worthless" Dan informed us numerous times he was worthless.

We are remodeling our house. In the process of the remodel we discovered that our drain pipes had rotted out, and had to be replaced. We have a concrete slab that had to be cut into in order to get to the pipes. This "ditch" ran through my kitchen, my living room, hall way and both of my bathrooms. Needless to say our house was not livable. It took Danny over 3 weeks to lay the pipe, in what he assured us would take 1-2 days. He constantly put us off, always had an excuse ( I forgot. I am sick. ect..) When the pipe was finally laid, we had to harass him to come and cap the cleanout drain in our front yard and to fill the hole in our front yard. (The cleanout drain rests in my flower bed, which was destroyed, and will have to be re-done.) Once he was finally done with all of his work, he did not get us a receipt, for insurance purposes we have to have a receipt. Again, it took over 3 weeks and constant harassment before he would get us the receipt to turn in to insurance. Will not use him or recommend him to anyone. Nice guy, poor work ethics.

My landlord sent Dan out when I had no hot water. He performed the service, and called me back later that day to be sure everything was fine. He was just terrific. I told all my friends about him!!

The work was completed during the day when my wife and I were at work. Our general contractor was doing other stuff that day and was unavailable to verify the quality of his work. Anyway, my wife got home first that day just as work was being finished, she was quickly asked to pay which she did and he was gone in a flash. I came home shortly thereafter and inspected the work and was appalled at what I saw. The work was shoddy at best, we found several leaks, just drip drip drip kinda stuff but that adds up. The vent stack was not moved as agreed beforehand rather was just relocated under the craw space, yes under the house, it smelled great! My wife commented about him being in a big hurry to get paid and leave since I told him that I would check all of his work closely and that I did in fact know what the job should entail and what it should look like and what my expectations were, these we things we specifically discussed. This is a job I normally would have done myself but our work schedules would not allow me the time. He did come back and fix the leaks the next day and re route the vent stack, however, we found more leaks under the house, he came back the next day and fixed them. The more I looked at his work the more furious I got and finally re-ran all the pipes just because there were so many elbows/connections to fail. For the record, he used pex tubing as I had asked but used cheap clinch fittings and each pipe for the shower had 9 count them nine clinch fittings from the floor to the shower knobs when only one was needed, that is the beauty of pex tubing. I still have the mess he called good saved just in case anyone wants to see them. While fixing the pressure side of things under the house, I saw a drip coming from the clean out that I made him install against his will (he said toilets don't need clean outs they are self cleaning) although required by code in this case. Anyway, I pulled on the pipe and the whole thing came out on my lap nasty water and all, it was not glued together, no, I'm making this crap up!!! I fixed this and checked the rest, we haven't had any trouble since. We did make sure he was properly licensed beforehand, afterwards, we looked him up on the states website and as best as we could tell, his license had not been current for 3 years, I can't say that for a fact but all the information we saw said so.

My daughter told him Friday nite she would be leaving by 9:30 Sat. am. He called me at 10:15 because they had everything done and he wanted to get paid. I told him to leave a bill and we'd mail him a check and he said he couldn't wait. He wanted his money now. She was left without water for an entire week with temps over 100 degrees with him promising every day to get everything fixed and yet he wants paid NOW.Everytime I talked to this man it was one lie after another and it was always my fault because I just didn't understand what he had to go through. He told so many lies he couldn't even keep them straight. The city inspector was not impressed with him because he didn't seem to really know what he was fixing, where the main came into the house, he hadn't even looked, and it was too hot for him to do much of anything, but it wasn't too hot for my daughter and granddaughter to go without water for a week. I would not recommend this man for anything unless you need to hear some lies.At the moment I do NOT plan to pay him the full amount because his agreement with me was to come on Wed. to do the work and he didn't show up until Friday and it wasn't done until Sat.Every day from Wed. to Friday I told him if he wasn't going to come to let me know and I would get someone else and everytime he promised he would take care of thing. My advice is if they don't show up the first time they say they will, call somebody else or you' wind up in this type of situation. Sat. night I find out that MR. Patterson did not bother to contact the city inspector before he left, even though he knew and was told it had to be inspected and he thinks I am so full of bulls___ for not paying him, that I am just unbelievable. He should have made me sign a contract for the amount he wants, even though he did not fulfill his part of the bargain. The man spent less than five hours in six days to do this job and I'm unbelievable.

Dan was professional, quick to respond, and knowledgable. We will be using this company for all of our future plumbing needs.

It went great! The guys were quick and very knowledgable. The problems did not end up being major fixes, but the guys were super helpful and explained what the cause had been. I would definitely call them again, if need be.

Dan came over the same day I called and fixed my clogged toilet in minutes. He was very professional, clean and quick.

We have had Dan fix minor plumbing issues twice in the past few weeks. The first time he called to ask if he could come a couple days before he was scheduled, which was greatly appreciated. The second time I called on a Friday. Dan said he was booked heavily the next week, so he came the next day, on a Saturday. He repaired two leaking kitchen faucets. His work was quick and very professional. While I am new to the area, I have found his charges to be reasonable and his responsiveness and professionalism to be outstanding,

Everything went fine Arrived on time and performed work on the spot.

Called Dan and set up a appointment, he showed up on time and preformed the work promptly and efficiently. Will diffinately use him the next time.

Went very well. He showed up when he said he would which is very unusual in this area. Told us the price up front and finished in a timely manner and did excellent work. I would recommend him to those that want the job done right the first time.

The installed the gas line in the rain because they new I needed to use the grill over the weekend. I was impressed

First of all, I have to say the guys at Patterson Plumbing are very friendly and they showed up right on time. Unfortunately, that's where the positive part of the review ends. They came out to fix two toilets, and they left with both toilets experiencing the opposite problems. When they left, each toilet had the same problem that the other toilet had when I called Patterson Plumbing to come out in the first place. Toilet 1 (leaky flapper caused toilet to refill often) Warped Flapper was replaced Plumber said the whole flushing mechanism should be replaced as well (even though the mechanism didn't seem to have a problem before he arrived) Replaced whole flushing mechanism Pros: Does not leak nearly "as much" Cons: Flusher is three times as loud; periodically comes on at random times (most notably in the middle of the night when I'm trying to sleep) Toilet 2 (flushing mechanism wouldn't stop running) Replaced flushing mechanism Replaced flapper (even though it wasn't leaking when they arrived) New flapper did not fit; significant leaking with new flapper was noticed by the plumber's assistant (after I had already written a check) Plumber recommended I go get a new flapper from Lowes (he never offered to come back and fix it himself, even though I had already paid him for the part that did not fit and was not used) They tried to re-install old flapper, but could not get it to seal correctly (granted it was an old flapper and probably did need to be replaced) Plumber recommended I just buy a new toilet from him; He said "this toilet is old, and new parts won't work." Pros: New flushing mechanism installed and works great Cons: toilet constantly leaks now; plumber left a dirty footprint on clean bathroom rug In hindsight, I realize I should have done the repairs myself. Shame on me for hiring a professional to repair toilets. I was able to fix the leaky flapper easily after a trip to Lowes the next day. Toilets aren't brain surgery... I'm glad I didn't take his advice to replace the "old" toilet. It works just fine (after I fixed it), and it is one of the older 3.5 gallon devices that only needs to be flushed once to do the job. Plumber offered to "take a little off the bill" for not being able to fix the toilet's new leaky flapper after I had already written a check. Before leaving, they asked where to put the trash. Since my can was full, I said outside by the door, where it still sat after they left...couldn't they take it with them? Could they have possibly felt good about the job they had just performed when driving away? I'm hesitant about leaving a bad review, but I know this is exactly what Angieslist.com is all about. I found Patterson Plumbing on angieslist.com, and I trusted that they would perform a good service (they had 10 flawless reviews). I feel bad for leaving a negative review for such friendly people, but I then again, I didn't pay $145 to make new friends. I'm a business owner, and I recognize that feedback (good and bad) is important for becoming a better company.

I found Patterson's on Angies List after a call from my sister. She wanted someone to fix Dad & Mom's toilet. They said they would be there by 8 a.m. and they were. They said they charge a $110 service charge. After an hour of work that is all they charged, they also gave them the 5% discount even tho my parents had no way of printing out the coupon.

Contacted Dan through Angies list and got him in touch with my renters to arrange a time for him to do the work. He was very friendly and he found a couple issues that needed to be resolved. I know there were multiple problems the main one being a horendous noise that only occurred every now and then. Dan did great and prompt work and fixed all the issues. He is def my go to guy for plumbing issues from now on.

They came they cut they glued & they left.

They actually showed up a day earlier then originally estimated. They were in and out within an hour. They fixed everything that was an issue.

Great communication, on time, good work and fair rates! What more can you ask for. I will definately recommend him to friends and family.

I called late afternoon and they were apologetic they couldn't come out that day but it wasn't an issue for me. They scheduled for 9:00 the next morning and showed up on time. Two men showed up and one worked in each bathroom. Lots of hair had clogged up the drain and they removed and tightened up a faucet that was a little loose. They cleaned up their mess afterwards. So far the drains have been draining fine. They were here 30 minutes and the bill was $100 which I thought was a little high but if it fixes the problem then it's ok. I had another plumber out a few months earlier and it drained for about a month and stopped up again.

Great! Excellent! Mr. Patterson is the best. Didn't charge a penny.

Another plumber gave an estimate (including the cost of parts that were actually under warranty) of $800. A plumbing supply company recommended Patterson Plumbing. He said the parts were under warranty. When the company sent the wrong parts, the plumber had to come back a second time after the correct parts arrived. He was very professional and his price was very fair.
