Description of Work: When the contract renewal (contract came with the house) came due,we were presented with a renewal notice and a bill. We did not receive any actual contract with the closing statements and when I asked for a copy, they were vague about providing one. When I drove to Centerton to get the copy it was unclear as to what services were to be provided and what the actual costs might be.

+ -1 moreWe have had termite coverage with Benton County Termite Control since we bought our house in 2003. They are punctual and helpful in all areas. Most of the time when we have an appointment they want to come early which is nice. Much rather have someone come early for an appointment than always being late... They are thougough and will give you time to correct things when needed. Very happy with their service.

+ -1 moreI have had my termite insurance with them since I moved here 5 years ago. They did the initial treatment and managed the yearly contract. A year ago, we had an infestation and it took them a year to get rid of the pests completely. They have now cancelled the contract and I have to start over with a new company, treatment etc, etc,. They were glad to take my money when there was no problem, but baled out on me as soon as there was a problem. In addition, they never seemed to be able to isolate the problem and solve it.
Description of Work: Company provided my insurance and yearly inspection for termites. They also did the initial treatment before the house was built.

+ -1 moreThey have a regular schedule, and they come to put little traps and do inspections. Regarding the pricing, they are about the same as everybody else. They are very professional. The bugs always want to come in and they will hold them out for a while, and then they come in. I don't have anything to compare the price to as we have used them for 12 years now. The quality seems to be fine. We are on a regular schedule so they never forget or miss appointments. We have a contract with them so we will use them again.

+ -1 moreA very unprofessional company to say the least and when I told them I would take my business elsewhere they did not care at all. Not surprising however because obviously if they don't send renewal notices or call their customers before their contract expires, they must not care very much about keeping that customer. I feel that it was wrong for them to try to take money from me for an inspection that they did not do. From their point of view maybe they were trying to be nice and save me money from having to pay for a treatment due to AR law, however it is also possible that they did not send the renewal notice on purpose so that I would have to either pay them for doing nothing or pay them alot more for a treatment. Either way, I would rather work with a company who wants my business and respects me as a customer by sending me renewal notices and calling if my contract is about to expire. What happened here with this company just seems shady to me.
Description of Work: I signed a yearly termite inspection with them in 7/2008 and they inspected in 2008 and in 2009. They seemed to be very fast and didn't take much time with explaining anything to me. I got a renewal notice in 2009 and I renewed with them. In 2010 they did not send a renewal notice and did not call so unknowing to me, my contract expired. They called me in 2011 to see if I wanted to renew my contract and I said yes. They explained to me that my contract had expired in 2010 and that I had two choices now. I could either pay $535 to have them come out and treat my property (because in Arkansas the law states that if there is a gap in service you have to get your property treated). Or I could pay them $270 which would be for the year of service that I did not get and also for the current year and if I did this they would make it so that my records would not reflect a gap in service! I told them that they did not send me a renewal notice and did not call me and that I feel like they are scamming people by trying to extort money for services they do not render. I told them I would not pay for an inspection that I did not get and that they are very unprofessional and I would rather pay another professional business more money to start over with them than to continue my business with them.
