I called and set-up and appointment for an estimate on carpet and someone came the next day, I have forgotten his name. He was polite and efficient. I had previously rented out my home and I had to remove the carpet due to the damage done by their pets. There was a urine smell that had soaked into the subfloor and he advised me they could paint it with Kilz to block the smell or I could save some money and do it myself which is what I opted to do. I appreciated the information. He measured the floors and we discussed different flooring options. He told me Roger could give a quote on the types we discussed and left. Two days later I received an email and a text from Roger with the estimates. I had called around and gotten quotes from other places and his was by far the best. After I received the quote I started having car trouble and I texted Roger to ask how long the offer was good. He said typically 30 days but he would extend it a couple of weeks for me. I ended up not needing the extra time but I am glad it was there just in case. I decided to go with carpet and having never had to buy and install flooring before I texted Roger multiple times on what I needed to do and what the next steps would be. He was very helpful and patient with my elementary questions. I went to Smiths Tile and Carpet and Darin helped me pick out the carpet I wanted, he called Roger and informed him of my choice. The day the carpet was to be installed Dan and Joe came about 30 minutes early and helped me move a few items that were too large for me to do on my own. They arrived at 8:30 am and were done by 1:30. The guys were quick, quiet, and efficient. The carpet looks great there are no apparent seams and it is flush against the wall. When I stepped on the edge of the carpet I didn't get stabbed by the tack holding the carpet in place, as you know that is not a pleasant surprise. They picked up and took the scraps of carpet with them and left me some of the bigger pieces I had asked about. There were little bits of trimmed carpet here and there but for the most part they cleaned up after themselves. Overall a great experience. I would definitely recommend them to friends and use them again if I ever needed.
