It was a disaster! It all started with the dirt under the slab not getting compacted, they forgot to build a chimney (we had a wood burning fireplace!) the tile was done incorrectly, they framed the garage for the wrong sized door, forgot the utility sink in the garage, forgot the floor outlet in the living room, and put the wrong color siding on the house. It was as if neither the contractor or sub-contractors had looked at the house plans. There ended up being a major problem with the foundation that was confirmed by a structural engineer / geologist. The company denied that there was a problem, and refused to make the repairs suggested by the engineer. They also refused to hire their own engineers to prove that there was not a problem. They did fix most of the problems except for the siding and the foundation. The house was almost 4 months behind schedule, and we ended up not buying the home. This company is a nightmare to work with!
