Description of Work: My father, Eli Couch, had used Middleton Heat & Air in the past and because he thought they were honest he purchased service contact to over two units in his home. Middleton had already informed my Dad earlier in the year the same crap they told him about this heating unit. Middleton sent a rep out and he "inspected" the heating unit and said it had a crack in the unit and condemned it for use! This is exactly what they said about the other heating unit not more than 9 months previous! They wrote the condemned form up and placed it on the unit and informed my Dad it can't be used and for him to wait for the sales rep/ another service guy to come out to let you know the cost of a new unit. Well my Dad called me and I'm like "Dad didn't they just convince you the other unit was cracked and had to be replaced and that cost thousands of dollars!" So my Dad called Arkansas General Maintenance, whom he had used many times before bc of his honesty! Well guess what!! My Dad didn't need a new unit plus wires had been cut and shuffled around so if my dad wanted to start and run his unit it would appear broken. The new service man just couldn't believe it!!! Instead of probably 6,000 for a new unit it cost my Dad $271.41 for a new circuit board which was $119.00 and the rest $130.00 for 2 hours labor bc he had to leave to buy a new circuit board. Plus tax! His name is Paul at Arkansas General Maintenance and is very very trustworthy! My Dad is so angry with Midfleton Heat and Air bc now he believes they lied about his first unit also! Facts don't lie! My dad never would have known if he hadn't called for a second opinion but Midfleton never changed their play card. They continued to say the unit was cracked and placed the condemned tag on this unit also but they did go a step further and cut wires! No exscue whatsoever and this is fraud! I told my Dad Midfleton has a lot of new trucks so someone has to pay for them! He wasn't laughing!!!!! Also my Dad this same unit serviced by them in the Fall so you probably can connect the dots for the wires being cut and oh yes, they were definitely cut!

Description of Work: They came to troubleshoot the gas furnace not working, and successfully identified the problem as a failed gas valve. They had no spare immediately available, and I elected to order a valve and install it on my own. It successfully resolved the problem.

Description of Work: My air conditioner went out at 10 pm on a Sunday night. I called Middleton and they were there by 11 pm. they fixed the outdoor unit and had the house cooling again by midnight. The $ 175 price was very reasonable, considering it was a weekend job. I was extremely pleased with the work and the price.

Description of Work: I called Middleton because my air conditioning wasn't blowing cold air. They sent a technician out within 2 hours. Brent came to my house and he was professional, fast and he fixed the problem. Basically the problem was a battery pack was blown and I also needed 6 lbs of freon. It was pricier than I anticipated but you get what you pay for. I am so happy because now my house is cool and I won't have to burn up in this Arkansas heat. This is a great company! I would use them again!

They have done some disappointing things around my home that I probably should not have hired them back for. They trampled all over my flowers and even left my gate open to where my cat got out and almost ran away. It was very upsetting.

+ -1 moreI have been using this company for five years and I am very pleased with their work. I like them being on call twenty-four hours a day. They had to make an emergency call to my house a couple of years ago. I called them early Sunday morning, they were here four hours later and came back early the next morning to install my new furnace. I think they are pretty quick getting to you, and they are a professional company. I have a maintenance agreement with them and I pay one hundred fifty dollars a year for them to service my air conditioner in the early summer and my furnace in the fall.
Description of Work: The serviceman came to my house and serviced my air conditioner. He took off the panel, checked out the parts and measured the Freon level, which was fine.

+ -1 moreWhen they come out, they do a very good job of inspecting the unit and adding fluids if needed. They also do basic cleaning and routine maintenance if there are any major problems that need to be taken care of they are sure to inform me.

+ -1 moreI usually have Middleton come out once a year to check my air, but when I started to hear a funny noise I knew I had to call them immediately. The had someone out the nest day to look at. They were very honest and told me the only thing that was wrong was it had rust in it.
