Description of Work: I hired them to move my larger items for a cross town move. I would do the rest myself with the family. We asked them to move washer and dryer, refrigerator, 2 queen mattresses and box springs, 1 king mattress and box springs with no head or foot boards. two tables, one armoire, one couch, one chair, one foot stool, one book shelf, and a buffet.

Description of Work: Moved household from NW AR to central MO. OUTSTANDING We have actually used them a total of three times now and they are always on time with no surprises. Very efficient and quick while being careful with my mothers furniture.

Description of Work: I moved from one apartment to another. I had everything packed and ready to go and it went smoothly.

Description of Work: The three young men loaded all our furniture including the piano. We did not move any appliances. We had already packed and arranged for family to move boxes of things before we called 2 Men and Truck. They unloaded all the furniture right where we asked in the 2 story house we moved into.

Description of Work: Hired this company to load boxes and house items into pods that were destined for Texas. We had many, many, blankets for furniture protection but evidently that wasn't enough. We had 3 pods loaded and the only (decent) pod that was loaded the very last one. The 2 men that loaded that one were the only ones that new what they were doing. The first 2 pods were packe so loose and not very much of anything inside was covered and protected. Complaind to company but all we got was an Im sorry.

Description of Work: My mother spoke with a CSR the day before on the phone and they had 2 men available the next day. She was quoted a price of $500 and told that "if the kitchen had not been packed yet, they preferred to do it." She agreed. The next day, the movers arrived - sort of on time....a little late and went to work with boxes, large items and basement/stored items. In this company's defense, my parents are not OLD but are not spring chickens either! They had not packed anything in the kitchen, after the phone call, and required some other items to be packed. The 2 men refused to pack food but happily provided boxes, packing materials & tape for the food items...at a nominal charge, of course. In addition to the items they packed throughout the house, including kitchen items. they obviously charged for their time & materials...thus the difference in price. So, fair is fair and they would have come closer to the $500 estimate had they not packed anything. When moving an (approximate - not sure at this exact moment) 27" flat screen TV - full size- sitting in - NOT ATTACHED or part of a cabinet but rather, just sat inside a solid oak entertainment center - Kyle chose to move entertainment center WITH TV, DVD/VCR and cable box in it. He simplty wrapped it in plastic and was surprised when he took the dolly over the threshhold of the front door (no steps, mind you) that it "wobbled and fell down." It destroyed the TV and did significant damage to this quality oak cabinet. There were some other minor damages as well. I spoke to Kyle via my mother's phone immediately and advised him of how upset I was, as we were helping my fixed-income parents with the move. He was rude, belligerent and well, just mean to me on the phone. I advised my mother to call the Springfield, Mo office mgr first thing the next morning. (His name is Nick.) She & my Dad tried to reach Nick repeatedly that Thursday to no avail. Later that morning, I called and explained the situation to the receptionist who was quite friendly! She advised that Nick was tied up in dispatch meetings and asked me if I would mind to hold. I told her I did not mind at all and in minutes, I was connected to a lovely gentleman named Grant, who is and has been the owner of this particular franchise for a number of years. Over the next week, I, as well as my parents, spoke further with Nick and Grant. In a very short time period, their TV was replaced with a new flat screen HDTV and they had a mobile custom wood repair man named Doug go to my parents home to do the repair job on the cabinet. He did a beautiful job and it is as beautiful as the day they brought it home just a few years ago. For the smaller items that were damaged, my parents rec'd a check in the mail to replace those items and the professionalism definitely became apparent. The mover that was with Kyle....and I'm so sorry I cannot remember his name....was extremely professional and I was told Kyle generally was, too. Perhaps just a bad day all the way around but Nick & Grant made it right!
