Description of Work: They came out and blew extra insulation in our house. Mr. Smith, the owner, explained what we had and was very practical. We gave us a lot of options and was very helpful. He was very honest and wanted us to make a decision that was best for us.

 + -1 moreSmith's Insulation was an all around great experience. Kenn was prompt on answering/returning my calls. He even came out on a Saturday to do the estimate, so I wouldn't have to take off from work. Kenn did a great job of educating me on what I had and needed. They gave me the time/date they were going to do the work...got me on schedule about a week later. Smith's almost doubled my insulation AND even pointed out a slow pipe leak I had in my attic. I highly recommend these guys.

 + -1 moreMr. Smith contacted me right away and was even nice enough to give me an estimate on a Saturday so I did not have to take off work. He was very professional and polite, answered my questions, and gave me a quote that was less than I had anticipated. Always a plus. He scheduled the work to be done quickly, was on time both for the estimate AND the work. he and his helper came in, set up, did hte work and cleaned up in just over two hours. I was very pleased with everything.

 + -1 moreKenn came one day and did the attic, then came again the next week to do the storage room, which took 2 days. Very friendly and professional and I would definitely use him again.
Description of Work: Blown insulation in the attic and insulated walls and ceiling in storage room. Also, put sheet rock on the walls and ceiling of the storage room.

Description of Work: I had my attic including over the carport insulated with 6 inches of cellulose over top of older cellulose insulation already in place. The new cellulose is treated with borax as a fire retardant and natural pesticide and mold retardant. Total of approximately 1400 Sq.ft. This seemed to be the most economical, cost-effective, and non-toxic type of insulation available. How well it performs compared to to fiber glass or other types of insulation I do not know but already my house seems to stay warmer with less use of the heat pump. The real test will be in the hot summer months and next winter. For now it seems worth the cost. Kenn Smith took the time to explain in detail about the product and procedure. He was very pleasant to deal with and was punctual and professional.
