 + -1 moreI texted Jack some photo's of my issue with the water not properly draining and the leaking. He called me and told me that he may be able to swing by. He came and replaced the plastic drainage part so that the oil based bronze drainage piece I bought would fit in properly without any leaking. He did not charge me for his time or service. The final bill was the exact amount of the estimate (plus some taxes, etc.). I have never met a plumber that was so friendly! I will definitely have him back for additional plumbing repairs (hopefully not needed) and bathroom rehabs. I highly recommend!!

 + -1 moreI'm elderly, a widow, and he had told me how he has great reviews, the best on Angie's almost, because of his good heart and fair prices. He knew I had little money. I was flabbergasted with his $160 and told him neighbor had told me the faucet cost was less than $15, the job was easy,, and I'd probably pay his minimum fee plus the part. Jack refused to show me the bill or take more than $30 off, and then guilt mongered, whining that he'd lost money on my job. It was a horrid transaction what with his mumbling bragging, big overcharge, exceedingly poor ethics. I changed a couple details, because I want no further interaction with this person..
Description of Work: Outside faucet froze this winter and needed replacement. My neighbor told me the needed part would be $10 maybe $$12. I told Jack the name of the faucet type. He showed up all smiley and reassuring, but without the faucet. He Proceeded to go to Lowe"s or Walmart for it. A 30minute trip turned into 1hr. 20 minutes. He installed it quickly and gave me a bill for $160! He said the part was expensive and it took over an hour of his time to acquire.

 + 0 moreI'm a new home owner with no experience with irrigation systems. I thought I might have had a leaking irrigation pipe. I called Jack and he was able to come out the same day. After discovering that was not the case, Jack explained how to get the system up and running after being winterized. I didn't know that I'd need a rather expensive part to do that. Jack did not try to sell it to me. Instead he told me to look around the house for it and see if I could find out where the previous owners left it. All in all, Jack was super nice and didn't try to take advantage of the fact that I was clueless.

Very nice guy .. enjoyed talking to him .. and that didn't even slow him up. Will definitely call him next time I have a plumbing problem.

The first time was for a clogged kitchen sink and this second time was for a leak in our furnace/hot water heater closet. Both times Jack was very prompt, friendly and knowledgeable! I highly recommend him for ANY plumbing need. He truly cares about fixing the problem you have and if the problem is coming from a source other than plumbing he will let you know what the true source of the problem is and help you get in touch with someone in that field to fix your problem.  + 2 moreI called the morning of Monday, Feb 10, 2014. Described my problem and was told he couldn't get there before that afternoon. I said that was fine; he said it might be that afternoon or maybe the next day. I said that was also okay and to be sure to call me when the service person was on the way over. I never heard from them again and no one ever showed up. That Wednesday I called another company; they came that afternoon, fixed the problem and I couldn't be happier! Don't call Moretto's if you actually do want service.

 + -1 moreJack Morretto phoned us back promptly after we left a message at his office. He came over on the same day and gave us a free estimate as to how much it would cost to replace the faucets and drains in our master bathroom. He was punctual, polite and very professional. He had to go above and beyond to replace the spa faucet - coming up through the basement into the master bath and working in a very small and congested area. The faucets work perfectly! He left the space that he worked in very clean and has since called to follow-up on the installation to make sure that everything was to our liking. He is now the only plumber that we would ever consider using.
Description of Work: Jack replaced our master bath faucets and our spa faucet. He replaced a faulty valve on our water heater.

He said he would do the french drain system for me, but also suggested that I have the driveway redone instead, because it was installed improperly. Even though it would mean he lost the job, he felt that was the better way to correct the problem.

Description of Work: Needed help on a malfunctioning "smart" water heater and a dripping faucet. We fiddled with the water heater until it started working properly again & Jack took the stem of the leaky faucet with him, as he'd not seen one like it before. Turns out the faucet & stem are discontinued. Jack kept the stem for a few days, attempting to get it to operate correctly again. He was successful, saving me the cost of 2 new faucets (matching bathroom faucets).

 + -1 moreWe are new part-time residents of Rogers, Beaver Lake, AR. We don't know a lot of people in the area yet but we do have a new plumber we will use time and time again as needs arise. Congratulations are in order! We just found out that Angie's List just awarded Moretto Plumbing of NWA their Super Service Award.
Description of Work: We bought a 2nd home in Rogers, AR so we could be close to kids and grand kids. The home was built in the 80's and an elderly lady we bought the home from thought the best solution for major drain problems for the washing machine was to let it empty into the laundry room basin sink. Trust me that was not a good solution. It was disgusting from years of exercising a very bad idea. We were referred to Moretto Plumbing of NWA by Angie's List. Reviews were excellent and we gave them a call. Jack Moretto, the owner came out, diagnosed the problem. We discussed what needed to be done and ask Jack to get started as soon as he could. He went to work on it immediately. Results were timely and excellent. Basically the washing machine drain pipe was corroded from years of neglect which he resolved. He also installed new hot and cold water valves for the washer and the laundry room basin sink. He installed our new washer, dryer and new faucet and basin sink. When he finished it was a new laundry room anyone would be proud of. I didn't mention the price in the approximate cost of service question because every situation is different and could require more or less work. My wife and I felt his price was extremely reasonable for all the work Mr Moretto did for us.

 + -1 moreThis review is actually for 3 different visits. I first met Jack last summer when he came out to replace/repair an outside faucet. Then more recently after our water company informed us that we had above normal usage, he spent time trying to find a leak. Once the leak was detected he capped off the faucet. When he couldn't initially find the leak, he suggested that I use a leak detecting company because he didn't have the leak detecting equipment and that it would cost less to use them, which I did. After they found the leak, he came back working till 8:00 PM in order to make sure the leaking part was capped off in time for the next hard freeze. After dealing with various plumbing companies over the years, what impresses me the most about Jack is the fact that he ALWAYS returns calls, always follows up, will call if he cannot be where he says he will be. This is basically unheard of in the other plumbers that I've had to deal with. He'll work late ensuring the job gets done. The quality of his work is top-notch and his prices are extremely fair.

Provider arrived as scheduled - very late in the afternoon to accommodate my schedule. After a visual check of situation brought needed materials and tools inside. The work was completed more quickly than I expected. Tested multiple times for leaks with good results throughout and demonstrated that the water treatment system was fully functional. Excellent workmanship was clearly evident. All materials as well as the replaced disposal were removed from site. No debris of any kind was left behind or outside around the service vehicle. I will use This provider for any future plumbing needs, including things that I might do myself knowing it will be done much more quickly and professionally than my amateur attempts.
