I couldn't get a quote, because the man on the phone said he was going to "pass on that." Their website says they do the service I wanted and I am within the service area. I don't know if he just wasn't in the mood to do a big job, or didn't want to deal with me, because I am female.

He arrived the same day I called. He got right to work on the problem. Jerry was nice and courteous.

We have used Jerry several times for various different jobs. He has fixed clogged drains, replaced our garbage disposal and re-routed the pipes to prevent future problems, fixed irrigation leaks, and replaced a toilet. He is always prompt, and we have never had to wait more than 1 day for service. If he doesn't have all the parts he needs, he goes and gets them right away, then comes back to finish the job. And he cleans up when he's done!

Jerry did a great job. He found some damage that the leak had caused to the floor, and was able to help us get a handyman out to fix it ASAP. He made sure the work was done right before he remounted the toilet. We were very happy with his quick response (he came in less than 2 hours after I called). His workmanship was great, and he cleaned everything up when he left. I would definitely call him again.

I phoned J & J on 3/24/15 and we discussed my situation. He asked if I'd like the same day afternoon appointment or a morning appointment the following day. I chose the following day. On 3/25/15 he arrived promptly at 8 am and assessed the sink by diagnosing where the leak was, removing the parts associated with said leak and realized there was a seal missing when it was originally installed. The whole apparatus was corroded as well from years of water running through it. He was able to clean off all corrosion to see that I did not need to purchase a whole new attachment, all I needed was a seal. He left to the store to grab a seal, came back and it was all installed and fixed by 9 am. My sink looks better than new and works great. He was friendly, courteous, prompt, knowledgable and worked quickly. I have saved J & J Plumbing as my favorites on Angies List as we will use them again!

Everything was great! He was very nice, friendly, and helpful. He cleaned up all his mess and took everything with him. We've used him two or three times already.

The worker was great. He did the job really fast but he was a little bit expensive.

Jerry came out on a Sunday to check my hot water heater. He re-lit the pilot and then waited to make sure it kept burning. He was very nice and knowledgeable.

I had just had it worked on a few months before and they replaced about everything so I knew it could not be something major. I called Whirlpool and they suggested the part that needed replaced. He replaced it and it worked fine. He was nice enough to not charge me for the part. Whirlpool gave me a replacement # and he went to Lowes to get the replacement part in my behalf (he used one he had on the truck). I appreciated that.

Sunday afternoon and all of a sudden heard water spraying from somewhere in my home. My bathroom floor was soaked and I didn't know what to do. Because where we live the yellow pages are not usually for my area so I remembered that I had Angie's List. I went on there and read all of the remarks and comments and called this plumber. He was out to my house in no time. It took him no time. He was great and for being a Sunday he didn't charge me an arm and a leg. Very reasonable price for the service and for parts.

Jerry was great guy - No non-sense, come in diagnose the problem and get it fixed...Did not try to sell you anything. Was very prompt in the response. Would use him again !!!!

Went well. Needed more parts than anticipated but it was required. That racked up the bill quite a lot.

Project was completed as quickly as possible -- only took a few days and the city had to come out to mark before digging. The work appears to be done very well (I'm not a plumber, but it fixed the issue and has not been a problem since). We were originally quoted $1000, which could end up closer to $1200 if the leak was under concrete and he had to rent equipment to dig up the cement. The only complaint we have is that the final bill was considerably higher than the original quote, with no discussion during the project that he would be going over budget. This especially came as a shock since the homeowner took a day off of work to help haul 1000 lbs of concrete out of the hole while Jerry was digging / working. The final project total was 1800.00. When we expressed frustration with the large discrepancy in price, Jerry apologized for the mis-communication. The original discussion was over the phone on a weekend -- nothing on paper up front which we are both to blame for. Jerry also offered to help out with disposal of the concrete and re-paving of the driveway. Each of these were NOT in the original estimate, so we appreciate his desire to please his customers. We hope to not have any plumbing issues in the future, but we would use Jerry again since the work does seem to be top quality.

He had to go through quite a bit to figure out where/how to disconnect my well and reconnect me to city water pipes. It wasn't readily apparent on my property but he stuck with it until he figured it out. I felt the price was more than reasonable for what he had to go through. The city told me that I'd need a new shut-off valve, which I mentioned to him but rather than agreeing, he checked it out first and said I wouldn't. It just needed digging out and reset. He could have just agreed with city - charging me for that labor and material and I would never have known better. Instead he was honest and up front about it - saving me quite a bit of money. I'd use him again.

Called on Saturday morning to inquire about estimated cost and availability. We were able to purchase the water heater at Lowes on Saturday and Jerry installed the next day. He installed it on a Sunday and didn?t charge extra for the weekend. His installation fee was slightly lower than Lowes and in addition he was able to fix a minor leaky pipe. Lowes was not able to have someone install for a few days later and wanted to charge $30 just to have someone come out on Monday to do an estimate. Jerry was a pleasure to meet and was professional and explained everything he was doing. He did a great job!

Everything went very well. This is a husband-and-wife team, both of whom are very nice. I called the day before and she scheduled him to come out the very next day. The following day, he arrived on time and was very friendly, yet professional. He had the repair finished in no time. Would definitely use again.

When I got my faucet installed originally, there was either a piece missing, or the other plumber removed it unknowingly. He had put electrical tape around it so it would not leak. Jerry and Justin were great. They made sure that my faucet would work properly. They even drove to Lowes to find out that my faucet was missing a part. They advised me to exchange the faucet and installed the new one quickly. Jerry was genuinely concerned about me and my house with the taped faucet! Highly recommended for his attention to detail and concern for the customer.

Excellent master plumbing work and a fair price for the high-quality water heater he brought with him (I did the research on that).

This guy's great. Very nice, comfortable and personable guy -- very easy to interact with. He did great work, including fixing our hot water heater and bringing it up to code. He also identified an electrical problem that we got fixed by someone else. We'll use him again.

Service was on time and completed with no problems.

I had a great experience and will definitely use again. We have some outside faucets that need work and he will be back to fix them!

Jerry - from J&J - repaired the main water line in our front yard (hit and damaged by tree planting). He was incredibly responsive and patient with us (we had to delay him to get a tree moved). His work was thoroughly professional; it was a difficult job in a muddy hole, and he patched the line expertly. I felt the price to be very fair for the work performed. He was very personable, and stayed on the job to ensure all the water came back to the house with no issues. I will definitely use him in the future.
