Description of Work: Plumber worked on leaking faucet, seemed professional, and completed the job and he was paid by check. I realized almost immediately that the faucet was still leaking. I called next morning, left a message for him to call me. He left me a message once 3 days later, I called him back, but he never returned my calls, but that one time. I spoke with the office several times and they assured me that he or someone would called me back, they never did. After more than a week of going up and back, I told them to forget it. The one plus is, they never cashed my check, but I did have to stop payment, and was charged $20 by my bank. My faucet is still leaking!

Unfortunately we were unable to repair [member's name removed] faucet. This happens often with older faucets and he was made aware before the repair was made that the faucet should be replaced because a successful repair would be unlikely. He chose to have us attempt to repair the faucet. We, both the office and service technician, did struggle to schedule another appointment. Due to the bad weather in the area (ice and snow) our office was closed and all calls were forwarded to an emergency contact. Jon, our service technician, did make several unsuccessful attempts to contact [member's name removed] and schedule another appointment (messages were left). It is our understanding that the faucet repair worked for half a day then it continued to leak as it had previously done. [member's name removed] was told that another repair would not work and that the only solution would be replacing the faucet. We offered to credit his initial $90 service charge toward the cost of a replacement faucet. He was not pleased with that offer and so we told him we would void and shred his check which had not been entered or processed. He approved and his check was never processed. A stop payment was unnecessary as we had no intention of taking his money. Situations like this are unfortunate because the customer was initially told that a repair was an unlikely solution and replacement was the best option. At the end of the day we are a service business and we will do what our customers ask. We do strive for customer satisfaction and try our best to earn repeat business. I called Wednesday morning for a service call and they said he would be here in the afternoon. He arrived about 1:30 PM and finished the job in about an hour. He did an excellent job and I am very pleased. I will definitely call the when the need arises.

The repair was at a rental I own. Davis had to coordinate with the tenant for a convenient time. They fixed it the day I called. Very fast and pleasant to deal with.

The repairman showed up on time. Explained the problem and the least expensive fix and performed the repair to my satisfaction. When I informed him of their advertised discount for Angie's List members, he reduced my bill on the spot.

The gentleman was very professional and fixed our issue. My wife and I spent an evening trying to remedy the issue to no avail. We couldn't have solved the issue without the plumber's knowledge. My only complaint is that their minimum service charge is $100. That seems high for the work that he conducted but I understand that there are costs associated with coming to our home that the company needs to pay for, i.e. gas, truck maintenance, etc. I will use them again for all of my plumbing needs.
Description of Work: Our dishwasher was not draining properly. The gentleman redirected the hose that went from the garbage disposal to the dishwasher. He fixed the problem.

Jon called to let me know his arrival time. He arrived when he said he would. I showed him where the repairs needed to be done and he got right to the task. He finished the job in a short period of time. He was a very nice guy and we had an interesting conversation while he worked.

My Mom's septic system collapsed and had to be totally replaced. Because of the town she lives in (Bella Vista) we had to hook it up to the city sewage line. Davis Plumbing was very responsive and from the time of the first call to the job being finished was less then a week. They were very punctual cleaned up and could hardly tell that there had been any digging in the yard. They kept us informed of every step that had to be done. I am extremely happy with the job they did and highly recommend them.

I called this company for a new house plumbing job. Due to budget restraints I had to find another way to complete the work so I was not able to use them. However, I have to say that at every stage leading up to and especially including the phone call to let them know I wasn't going to use them was a pleasurable experience by professional people. I have no doubt given the opportunity they would have performed the work to the same level of professionalism that they handled the estimate process!

Description of Work: They unclogged a new faucet and explained why it was that way. They finished a job another plumber had started and fixed another tub drain that was not put together correctly. He was polite, removed his shoes inside my house, worked fast and explained everything. I could not be happier!

After the initial hiccup over missing the initial meeting, they were on time, polite, went to work immediately, finished quickly and made absolutely certain their work was good before they left. The price was exactly as estimated.
Description of Work: We used Davis Plumbing on a re-model. On Tuesday they were supposed to meet with me to take a look at the job at 2:00 P.M., but they were a no show and I received no phone call until several hours later explaining that they had a couple of emergency jobs and forgot to call me to reschedule. Despite this I decided to stay with them. The next day their rep. showed up as scheduled. He looked at the job and called me later with the estimate. We scheduled them for Friday. They showed up on Friday and Jon performed the job as specified. He went immediately to work, was quick and did quality work. He stayed until he had performed a check on all his work to make sure everything was working. The amount charged was the same as their estimate.

Our Realtor recommended Davis plumbing. They did a pressure test on the plumbing system before we purchased a bank owned home. They tested and found no obvious leaks. The day we moved in we turned on the water and no leaks. But we had no hot water. When John came out he diagnosed an electrical problem and recommended an electrician who came right out and fixed it. We had a leak under the kitchen sink which turned out to be a cracked disposal. They came back the next day and replaced the disposal. They do good work and are very prompt and reliable.
