Description of Work: Replaced toilet tank hardware, replaced sink pop-up assembly, replaced faucet handle. They had to order the pop-up assembly, which did not arrive by appointment time, so two trips a week apart were required. An internal communication problem resulted in the plumber arriving on the second day without the parts needed for the repair. He had to make a trip back to the shop to get them. Turns out the faucet handle was just a little smaller than the original--probably because of manufacturing changes during the past few years--so it wasn't a satisfactory replacement. Fortunately, I only needed the cap, so the problem was solved by reinstalling the old faucet handle and using the new cap, but it was an expensive cap. You had to order the entire handle assembly to get it. That was not the fault of Davis Plumbing, however. In the end, I was satisfied and would call them again.

Description of Work: Jon replaced all of the parts of our toilet in our master bath. He came promptly at the time of the appointment after calling to let us know he was on his way. He removed his shoes without being asked when he entered our house, which we greatly appreciated. He had all the parts needed and finished the work in less than 15 minutes. He also replaced the water shut of valve which was not working properly. We will definitely use Davis Plumbing for future plumbing needs.

Description of Work: I called to have the moisture problem in my basement evaluated and get an estimated repair cost to prevent future moisture problems. The "tech", Jon reported that there was "no moisture" in the basement and suggested that we get a dehumidifier for the house. I emailed photos of the wet ground under the house and the foreman, "Frank" came by to re-check the basement. Although his recommendation was to do nothing, "It's been a wet spring. A lot of houses are having water in the basement.", he at least found the wet conditions I had originally called the company about. He explained, "Jon is just a plumber" as the explanation why Jon had completely missed the problem I had called about. It's really not difficult to tell dry dirt from mud, but even that simple observation appeared too difficult for at least one employee of this company. They may be good at some things, but accurate evaluation of basement moisture problems isn't one of them. Meanwhile, the humidity inside my house remains above 75% relative humidity and smells like mildew. A total waste of my time.

Description of Work: I called for an estimate on changing out the gas supply lines to our water heaters. Jon was punctual and gave us a great price. He was even able to do the work the same day.

Description of Work: He took out appliances in the way. Cut a hole through the sheet rock to get to the back of the shower and tub. Replaced all hardware with new hardware. He put all appliances back and you would not know he was ever here. After Davis Plumbing I would never use another Plumbing Company.

Description of Work: Had a issue with a electric water heater, called Davis plumbing and got a fast call back. I explained what was happening he said he had a good idea of what was wrong and gave me a couple of times to choose from to come out and look at it. He was hear the next day, called before he came out and had it fixed with in 30 minutes (it was a bad thermostat).

Description of Work: Was fighting with a faucet repair for four days and finally decided to call a plumber. Called around and found that they were the most cost efficient. Mr. Davis was very polite and eager to help my situation. He informed me that John, his repair man would be calling me before he came out. John called and showed up a few minutes early(which I appreciate) and got right to work. Thirty minutes later the job was done and I finally had my kitchen back! I am very pleased with the work performed and I will be calling them for future work and save myself the headache.
