Walmart Pharmacy - Benton

My husband and I went to the Benton, AR Wal-Mart electronic department looking for a cd/dvd player and maybe a surround-sound system for my elderly, handicapped, hard-of-hearing parents for Christmas. We found several items that might have been appropriate for them, but there were no prices listed either on the boxes or the shelves. Granted, they have some price-check locations through the store, but we'd have had to load a basket full of the items and carry them halfway across the store to check each price. I took three boxes to the register nearby and asked the checker to look up the prices on these three items as there were no prices on the shelves. Her first words were, "ALL OF THEM?" Yeeeesss...All. Of. Them. She acted as though I was putting her out and grudgingly looked up the prices. I told her if there had been posted prices, I'd not have needed her assistance, and she said she's not responsible for the prices not being posted. Ultimately, we got tired of having to look for prices on things that filled the shelves, and we left without buying anything. It isn't as if it was an occasional item that might have been in the wrong place....it was entire shelves full of the same item with no price posted. We'll buy our equipment elsewhere.

All I went in for was a refill and it took almost an hour and a half to get a refill. I transferred to another pharmacy and the most I have to wait there is 20 minutes. I think all Walmart wants you to do is shop. I don't believe Walmart is going to change how they do business and I try to do as little shopping that I have to do there. I give them the lowest ratings and will not use them in the future.
