John and his son were very professional and thorough. They patiently explained the issues they found, as well as possible repercussions and solutions. From the smallest technical code violations to the huge safety issues, they made sure I knew and understood what I was looking at, then provided a fully illustrated report that was super easy to follow. I didn't buy that house due to the safety issues, but I've already scheduled John to inspect the new house I've got under contract. I want to know what I'm getting into before I sign on the dotted line!

John and his son arrived on-time at the location of the inspection prepared to work. He and his son were very professional and provided excellent service. They took their time to first address our main concerns with the property and were very detailed in explaining what the problem was and how to fix it. After answering our initial questions, they proceeded with the inspection. Both men were very thorough in the inspection process and welcomed us to follow them during the inspection to have problems explained to us as they became found and allow us to ask further questions that would arise. After a very thorough inspection, including moisture readings, temperature readings, and pictures of all areas inspected, the men began writing up the report so we could have the information available to go over on location. John finished the report with pictures to show his findings and images or charts to explain the proper way the problem areas should have been. He then went over each area of the report to reiterate his findings, offer codes that problem areas should align with, and answer any new questions. He also made suggestions on how to best fix the problems, how long he thought we had before a problem needed attention, if not immediately, and informed us that we can call anytime if we have anymore questions on the inspection. Overall, he provided superior work that I will definitely use again for any homes we purchase in the future and will always recommend to friends, family, and strangers :) He and his son were excellent!!!

It went very well. We had a situation where we needed find someone within a relatively short period of time. John was very accommodating and very cordial on the phone and in person. He showed up right on time. He was very thorough when it came to the inspection and mentioned many potential issues that I would assume other area inspectors may not when discussing some issues with contractors after the fact. The best aspect of the whole experience was that we had a PDF of our home inspection the same day, so we could then immediately start to contact contractors to get estimates. It was very handy having the PDF because we could then send directly to the contractors via email, which was a whole lot easier than trying to explain things over the phone. I'd highly recommend John to anyone in the area.

I contacted John to inspect a newly installed roof on our home. We ran into issues with our roofer shortly after install. I called John on a Monday, he was onsite Tuesday morning. John pointed out issues that have proven to be very helpful as I continue to resolve issues with the roofer. John was very professional. I wish I would have known about Trusted Home Inspectors when I originally purchased this home -- I am sure he would have pointed out many issues that we missed...

Overall we were very pleased with the inspection which took about an hour and a half. He alleviated the concerns about some of the holes where some of the roofers missed when nailing on the roof and applauded the condition of the concrete slab. He confirmed that both the location and structure were worth the asking price.

The inspection revealed small issues as well as an ongoing water intrusion problem. The defect was concerning enough to us that we terminated the purchase of this home. When it comes to inspections I really like to know what I am in for and I want to be the one who decides whether I want to take on a certain issue or not. I don't want to just inherit a problem. I am not sure another inspector would have found the problem John did. I feel it was money well spent even though we didn't purchase the home. We will use Trusted Home Inspections for the next house because he we felt he did a great job!

John did a very thorough home inspection. He found electrical, plumbing, and construction problems that helped me get out of what would have become a money pit and terrible mistake. He said he didn't know how this 1 year old house passed it's original inspection. I don't know either. Thank you John!!!

John Williams was effective from the very first phone conversation when we agreed to a time and place. He arrived early and was active on the job as my realtor and family arrived as planned. John values time and makes the best use of time, performing his inspection in a no nonsense fashion. He welcomed my involvement and questions, but I felt like I was in his way as I tried to anticipate his next move and where he was going. His report was very through. He discovered structural and foundation problems that are literally a show stopper for the home purchase. He recommended the hiring of a structural engineer, that I did acquire. That Engineer confirmed what John had uncovered and is now prompting nearly $25,000 worth of work needed to ensure the home is up to code. His inspection report is on line and promptly available upon payment, so it is possible to get it in a best case the same day.I would with out doubt recommend John and Trusted Home inspections.

Overall, the experience was very satisfactory. He was very professional and was punctual. He took the time to explain everything that he listed on the report. I would recommend him to anyone who is considering buying a home or who just wants to know the condition of the home they're already in.

I cannot give a detail report from start to finish just for the fact that I nor my husband were present during the inspection. But, I do know that we received our money's worth; the inspection report was very thorough. John inspected a vacation home that we were considering to purchase in Arkansas.

The whole inspection went very well! I really felt he was on our side on the inspection and inspected the house as if he himself was going to move in! If I need another home inspection done I know I will call John!

John was very responsive and polite. He was able to come out to the house we're buying within a couple day's notice. He spent several hours examining everything. John from trusted home inspection was on time and very professional did the job always ask if i had any question when i did answer them very well to where i understood them when the job was done he ask if i wanted to do the assement of the inspection i said yes and we did it right there the computer layout of the inspection with pictures and codes for plumming , elecrial and ect were also in the assement i found that real helpful he also e-mailed the assmement to me for future use so i can use to fix the anything he found . I would hightly reconmend this person for any future inspection.

After several contractors have come and gone, I wish I had used John for re-inspects and Angie's List a lot sooner. Even though I didn't need a home inspection to buy a foreclosure property, I wanted to go into home ownership with some knowledge of any problems with the house and the general condition of this older property. I asked others for the most detail oriented inspector and was given John's name. Other reports describe him as energetic, punctual, and informative and this is very true. I have referred to his complete and easy to read report many times as I have brought this home up to a liveable (and nice looking) standard.

Went well. John was early. He was energetic and fast, but dilligent. He was happy to let me tag along for the entire inspection and described all the problems (and non-problems) as we went. He encouraged my questions. Got the report to us within 24 hours even though he had a birthday party to attend as well!

We purchased our new home and hired Trusted Home Inspections on the recommendation from our realtor. John (our inspector) arrived on time, introduced himself & asked if we had any concerns and ask if we would like to come with him while he was doing the inspection.
