Summary: Excellent and better than expectations in all areas from initial estimate, price, schedule to completion. Details: I seriously believe the adage, "Someone up there must like me!" regarding my hardwood floors. I had explored numerous options for the floors during my complete remodel of this old house. I could not find a reliable repair service for the damaged 30 sq ft boards. Nor could I find a suitable DUST FREE hardwood floor refinisher at a reasonable price. Just when I was deciding to put down vinyl, I saw Jeff Head's truck down the street working on a 100 year old damaged wood floor. The results down the street were spectacular! I called Jeff's number from the side of his van. We discussed my needs and he showed up the next morning right on time (5 min early.) He presents very well: experienced, competent, and honest. He gave me a written estimate on the spot and agreed to begin the next week. Jeff and his adult son arrived right on time to begin the job. He always went the extra yard as seen by his culling through my replacement boards to get the best match and then "feathering" them in to hide the repair. The repaired 27 sq ft area is not detectable without prior knowledge. One room had some 3 sq ft of "cupped" boards likely from a defective hot water heater in the 1970's. He was able to smooth them and they, too, are not detectable. I put in a new air filter prior to his work and changed it upon completion. I was surprised to see how clean the filter was. His system is realistically dust free. Although I am particular, I cannot find fault with anything from start to finish.

Jeff the owner did a terrific job. I had tried everything to remove the haze myself for a couple of years with no success. Jeff came to my house with a great product that worked like a dream. It removed all of the surface dirt and left the floors very clean and clear. Jeff even left me with the product he used so I could spot clean or do the entire floor myself again in the future. He was very professional and courteous and his price was very reasonable. I highly recommend Custom Hardwood Inc and would use him again in the future.

They did such a good job we had them do our bedroom. They were very patient about their work. They didn't rush through to make a schedule. Jeff and his son Chris work together in the family business. They are both very clean cut, trustworthy people that work hard. I would say that they could work in my house any time with the key to the door without me being here. They are very trustworthy people. The quality of their work was just outstanding. They coordinated the color of the wood and matched the grains on the floor.

.Jeff Head was punctual with his meeting time to provide me with an estimate. His cost breakdown was clear and concise. He verbally went over each item so there was no misunderstanding. He was at the jobsite when he said he would be and the finished product are some of the prettiest hardwood floors I have ever seen considering the fact that they were installed in 1960. Jeff Head is a good communicator and is honest In his approach to satisfy the customer. I am going to contact him to do the floors in my daughter's house.
